I will NEVER go into Hobby Lobby on 8th Street again!! The cashier at the returns/exchanges register should never be allowed to work around customers, ever! I believe her name was either Christine or Christina, she had her name tag partially covered. I had originally come in to the store on Friday March 17 to look around at their Spring items as I often do. We ended making a fairly large purchase so I didn't realize at the time that I had been over charged for 2 identical items I had purchased. They were on sale at 50 percent off and when I looked at my receipt later that evening, I realized I had been charged full price. I called and spoke to a manager Janine the next day as the store had already closed for the evening. I wanted to make sure I had read the sign correctly, as it is a pretty significant distance to drive back to the store from my house. The manager Janine confirmed that the items should have been 50 percent off and apologized for the mistake, and told me I could receive my money back the next time I was in the area. I went in on Wednesday day the 22nd with my receipt and one of the the identical items I had purchased. Everything was fine until I told the cashier Christina, that it was the 2 items priced at 14.99. She looked at the item I had with me and got a really nasty attitude in her voice and said I could only get the money back for the item I had with me. She started she didn't believe the item I had, had been on sale the week before anyway. She said the display boxes usually aren't. I told her for a second time I had already spoken to manager Janine and she confirmed that it had been on sale. The cashier continued to argue with me and then said I will get a manager. She called another lady over to the register and as I started to explain what I came in for the cashier told the "manager" that she told me she would see if she could help me but that I wouldn't shut up for her to help. She said this with the same attitude that she was using before like she was some sort of victim or something. That's a joke!!! I ended up leaving the store without my money back because something was going to happen if she continued to talk to me the way she was. She is a horrid customer service agent and should NEVER be allowed to deal with customers. Watch out if your cashier's name is Christine or Christina and check your receipt thoroughly before leaving the store. This used to be my favorite store to make purchases from and I have spent a lot of money there over the years but that is certainly over now. I would give 0 stars but the app...

I love all the decorations that their carry for the holidays! They have wonderful signs, table decorations, napkins, garlands, centerpieces, and so much more!
Their selection of silk flowers is nearly overwhelming! They carry many varieties of flowers, in so many colors and shades of colors.
They have candles, magazine racks, small side tables, and other pieces of furniture.
They have posters and other decor for the walls.
The have many displays, throughout the store. The store is a good place to get ideas for decorating and for party planning.
If you have a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, gender reveal, baby shower, or any other party, you should stop in! They have so many things to choose from.
If you, your family, friends, or co-workers, love to do crafts, this is a must stop. The craft choices are too numerous to list.
I love to walk around and find inspiration here. Gathering new ideas for decorating or for a fun party theme.
The one thing that I most love about this Hobby Lobby, is their Custom Framing Department. They have helped bring my ideas into reality many times! They frame items, beautifully. The staff is simply awesome. They are professional and creative! I have gone back, numerous times to get canvases, prints, and other items professionally framed! I have been thrilled, every time. I could not recommend the framing department more highly. Their work is terrific!
That said, I have had one isolated bad experience at this location. I witnessed the manager being rude, condescending, and unprofessional towards one of the framing staff, as they were helping me to check out and carry my newly framed item to my car. This was something that should never happen, but especially not at the checkout area, in front of customers. I was appalled. On top of that, she did this, because the person asked her a question about getting my order paid for. Just that, nothing more.
Otherwise, every employee at this store has been great. Hopefully, the manager was having a bad moment and this is not the way she normally talks to her workers.
Here’s a tip. Grab a coupon, before you go. They offer...
Read moreMy wife and I recently had the pleasure of going shopping at Hobby Lobby to put together the party decorations for an intimate little soiree. Although some of the items we sought were unavailable in the brick and mortar stores, latex balloons larger than 36" are readily available online with a few minutes of searching.
As many of you know from previous reviews, my wife is wheelchair bound. I will compliment HL at the beginning of this review and offer a heartfelt 'thank you' from both of us for having an open and well laid out store. The aisles are wide and for the most part uncluttered so as to allow for easy navigation, allowing minimal frustration even when facing oncoming customers in the aisles. 😻
Quickly we found ourselves surrounded knee deep in party decorations. Providing an adequate selection of balloons, colorful favors of all kinds, and other creative accessories, we made our selections quickly and were eagerly aproaching home. Preparing to get down to inflating the soon to be 50 latex balloons I now found myself holding held. Ultimately 25 - 12", 10 - 18", 5 - 36", and lo and behold... she had, unbeknownst to me an enormous red 72" latex balloon. OMG! Just think, all of these inflated solely by mouth! Just her and I and in one sitting... You can imagine the absolutely constant sustained head rush that ensued.
So if your looking for a wonderful store to supply your hobby and want to avoid such unfortunate giants like other uncaring and insensitive Party stores take a look to Hobby Lobby. The helpful and patient staff are more than happy to discuss your needs and assist with selections. The stores are light and airy with great natural hue lighting to allow for true colors to be seen and evaluated. From putting a ship in a bottle or flower arranging to a well decorated soiree, I highly recommend that you take meander to Hobby Lobby close to you and if a young lady urges you to invest in an electric balloon pump? Consider it. 🤪
Thanks again! It was a great success and an...
