This is the second time we have eaten at this location. The first time the service was horrible, the food wasn't even edible. After months we decided to give it another change. Our food was so much better this time, and our server Krystal was amazing. Very nice. The manager- an awkward nightmare. She kept coming to our table and wouldn't leave us alone, all the other servers looked like they were abused by her. You can here her yelling and raising her voice to the servers. There was a complete lack of respect from her to the other employees, and as well as the customers. We literally felt rushed because she kept asking how it was tasting and kept trying to take our plates that still had food on them. I had a side salad with my meal, and I purposely didn't ask for no curtons or tomatoes, even though I pick them off, but that is because my husband eats them on his stuff. I had them placed on a napkin, and the manager came over, very snarky, trying to act like the server made a mistake. I told her I purposely ordered it that way, and she cut me off and asked to take it off the table and she will bring me another napkin. Then it proceeded in her taking the napkin with the food on there, that I was expressing that I was keeping for my husbands omelet, to her going in the corner, scalding the waitress, and sending someone else over with napkins. I feel sorry for these other servers who are treated that way and disrespected by this woman. We will not return to this location again, because this manager was very rude and had a very horrible attitude and does not know how to deal with customers. I would have actually enjoyed my food more if she would have actually left us alone to eat and stopped trying to take our plates we were...
Read moreIHOP on Stetson Hills is my favorite I am fortunate to have a weekly regular meeting there with other business Professionals. I have met in the meeting rooms at four different IHOPS in this town. This franchise always builds a back room large enough to meet with larger parities. I have hosted Chamber of Commerce Breakfasts, Church men's groups, and Network Groups at IHOP's The Management Team works with us to give us quick options that can be prepared quickly and affordable. My meal is always prepared perfectly; Two eggs, sausage and sour doe toast with jelly. I have met clients for lunch as well. Chicken fried steak is great, burgers, sandwich's, or a steak and egg option always in play. I love the IHOP is kid friendly. They make pancakes with smiles on them and the kids just light up. Camden is favorite server he is always on time, has our tables in place, clean, and has water and silverware ready for everyone. Our meeting starts at 0900am however a small group of us meet at 0700am and we are usually eating before our meeting even begins. Camden is always friendly, professional and patient with our group. We appreciate the start to the day we have with him. This IHOP has plenty of free parking. It is kid friendly and handicap accessible. I love the location it is right off Powers Blvd and right across the street from a church and shops. I great part of this neighborhood. I would highly recommend IHOP for meetings, breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is a great restaurant.

Read moreWe came to here expecting to enjoy breakfast and my husband found a plastic object in his omlette while eating it. The manager came and apologized and did not charge us for the breakfast meal and found that the plastic piece came from a container they opened in the kitchen. My husband was upset. Today, we decided to give IHOP a second chance and wanted to try their new french toast. What are the chances that my husband pours the coffee in his cup and a piece trash or napkin was stuck on the inside of cup! This is outrageous. My husband was infuriated. We quickly got the attention of the server who notified the same manager, an older woman who took her precious time to come and address the issue. She did not come approach us until we were nearly at the door to leave!
She immediately recognized us from the first incident and noted that she remembered the plastic that was in our food. She offered to pay for our meal a second time and we declined stating we were not interested in a free meal but preferred quality, safe food, and service. She apologized, however it is obvious since it happened a second time IHOP was not interested in improving quality and service. I did not have the option of giving IHOP no stars, so I had to give them one star. Additionally, we will be filing a corporate compliant and a complaint with the Colorado Springs Health Department. French toast combo with pieces of garbage on the side? Disgusting! No...
