Milano’s Pizza & Italian Kitchen — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

This was, at best, mediocre.

My partner and I stopped by the mall for lunch two days ago and decided to try out this place because it's new. We ordered an $11 12 inch cheese pizza, and waited about $20 minutes for it. The tastes individually aren't bad- the cheese is good quality, the sauce was a little lacking (in quantity or quality I couldn't tell) and the dough is nice and fluffy.

However, the pizza came absolutely packed with cheese, and so much so that it left and unsettling puddle in the middle of the box so large you could've topped and entire other pizza. Somehow despite this, most of the slices we ate didn't have anywhere near that amount of cheese as most of it would slide off when we picked it up.

Ultimately could do with a little more seasoning and a little less cheese, and I'd recommend anyone passing to try it once, but we probably...

I used to love visiting this restaurant, the food was delicious for a while and Oscar who was #1 at customer service made this place an enjoyable place to shop at and visit. Unfortunately I visited this place last week and they have new employees, 2 girls were working the front. The girl who served me was extremely rude, and so was the one who checked me out. The one who checked me out kept saying, "drink? Drink? What to drink?" I finally had to snap back at her and tell her to give me a minute to look at the d*mn drinks. You can clearly tell these girls hate their job and hate having to provide service, even though that is their job. When you work on the line in the front, you need to be able to socialize and communicate with customers. I'm very disappointed with the staffing...

Price matches the quality of the food. It is a bit more expensive than some pizza places, but the portions are gigantic and so much more tasty that even Papa John's. Shop keepers are enthusiastic and make sure you get what you need. Able to feed 2 adults with large drinks for less than $20. Start with 1 slice because they are huge!!
