Ready to wait to be disappointed well this is the place . I left this 2 years ago and wend back last night I was there at 10:50. Trying to place a mobile order. I was un able to get a connection so I press the red button. The stall next to mine was answered they Place their order. Then they went to answer my red button with no response the button went off I push the button again and about three minutes later they come on and say we are no longer accepting orders and are stalled due to low staff please get into the drive-thru line we will help you there. I sat in that drive-thru line for 45 minutes before I was able to place my order I place my order. I get to the front window I ask if they have Apple pay or tap to pay because I do not like giving my card to a drive-through employees. She says we do not accept that type of payment which I found extremely shocking being that this is a new rebuilt location I would think they would have got new technology for payments as all the other Sonics in the city do. I hand her a debit card she takes the debit card to the back of the store and then returns. I asked why didn't she just swipe my card in front of me she said the computer is just by the back door. I know how easy it is to have your card duplicated so I was very uncomfortable with this practice and she said the front computer was down. It was a very slow and uncomfortable experience. All the employees looked very sloppy unclean and I did not feel comfortable eating there I ended up taking the food that I already paid for and the drinks and throwing it all in the trash being that it was cold not very well put together and my drinks were not even mixed I had a pile of nerd sitting on top of my son's drink causing him to almost choke. In my honest opinion this place needs to be shut down by the city and it needs a completely new owner staff or maybe just...
Read moreHonestly, Ive had a few issues with Sonic in the past: wrong food, wrong drink, forgotten condiments. But today it felt like everyone that was working had their puppy die at the same time. My food had said it was done but wasnt delivered to my car for 30 minutes after the confirmation that Caleb was "on his way". I am assuming he was the car hopper that was dragging his feet, forgetting the code to the door so he stood staring at it for a while each time he went into the building, and kept taking a single drink at a time to each customer. Once I finally aged a while in my hot car, my food was run to my car by a different employee. He seemed to be in a panic that my food hadnt been delivered yet and quickly went back inside. My drink was given to me partially spilled and dripping after the employee ran and it wasn't as fast as he had thought since my food was ice cold and smashed by the time I received it. I sadly took my food back home to eat since I no longer wanted to waste anymore time at that location. But the disappointment continued. My food was not only cold but one of the food items lacked anything other than egg. You would expect a sausage breakfast burrito to have some meat or something in it, but it was literally just scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla. Another issue was that I had requested condiments when I had ordered (literally my receipt had shown the condiments listed) and not even a salt packet was in the bag. Highly disappointed with this specific location. I absolutely love Sonic but I would never eat at that...
Read moreOrdered slushes online - when we got there, we were told their machine was down.
As per usual with Sonic, we were given two options: call some number and request a refund, or get a substitute. However, this Sonic has no speaker at the online order pickup stalls, so someone had to come out and tell us - while it started to rain.
The thing is, I donât know your menu - I donât know what a valid substitution is. After being told Shakes were âtoo expensiveâ, it started to rain more. We tried looking through our phones quickly at other options, since there are no menus for us to look at in the pick up stalls, but felt rushed as the guy was literally standing in the rain waiting.
This isnât the guys fault - this is Sonicâs fault. Last time we requested a refund at a Sonic due to them not being able to fulfill the order they charged us for, it took 45 minutes - we werenât falling for that this time.
Sonic, either figure out how to make it so employees can cancel an order, or do better at suggesting upgraded substitutions. Youâre the ones who canât fulfill your end of the order and make it insanely difficult to cancel, so you should take the hit. Youâre failing - youâre cheating - youâre ripping people...
