We came in this evening for dinner, I had no issue with my food but my daughter found 3 pieces of hair in her food. I double checked as I know sometimes corn can have fibers that look like hair- it was hair… We alerted the gentleman who then took the plate with the hair and replaced it with a different meat. My daughter was still put off by it and I explained to him she doesn’t want to finish eating because of the hair so he turned her pot off. I continued as I didn’t have an issue in my stuff, the problem was more than half of what we ordered stayed on the table because she was grossed out. When it came time to check out I explained I have no issue paying full price for mine, but with all the left over food since my daughter ate 2 pieces of meat after finding the hair. I asked about comping her meal, they told me I had to show them the hair on the plate that the gentleman already took from us, it made no sense. I still ended up paying $50 which isn’t the real issue, it’s how it was handled even after I explained we told the gentleman about the hair and he already took the plate, she even pointed it out and he asked us if we wanted something different she said no and he brought a new plate of meat out. I can only chalk it up to a possible language barrier, but I don’t think I would come back after this experience it didn’t make quite too much sense the way they...

First impression--We were seated pretty quickly and left with both á la carte and ayce hot pot menus without being asked any question or told anything. Although there weren't many customers, it took more than 10 minutes for a server to finally came to ask what we wanted to drink and immediately left before we got to ask about how the ayce works.

Everything we ordered, except for the bokchoy, did not look fresh. The sliced beef looked greyish and looked to have been thawed out from freezer burn, served still on the styrofoam. There was an aftertaste and smell even after boiled. Some of the shrimps were a bit mush, the fried fish balls and tofu were dry and stale and had a slight smell like they've been kept in a crowded fridge for sometime.

Our server never checked on us and it was difficult trying to get their attention. So we didn't order anything else.

A few months later, because of more recent positive reviews, we gave them another try thinking perhaps they just had an "off" day. Even though the sliced beef didn't look grey this time, they were tough and dry without being overcooked and had a milder fridge smell than last time. The other ingredients were about the same in quality as last time.

Both experiences left us feeling awful/sick afterwards without eating much and regretting the...

A small hot pot spot just to eat (i.e. no karaokeor anything trendy). adorable for the outside mall location with a cute ambiance for springs. Husband and I went on a Friday night and it wasn't overly busy but plenty of people were in and out. We both got hot pot for which there are 4 burners at each booth and you get your own individual pot. we were skeptical initially as we are used to having one large pot with a divider instead, but ended up liking this concept as well. beef broth was...flavorful enough, seasoned with actual beef chunks. there was siracha, hosin, soy, and mild chili at table with a more "spicy" chili upon request. comes with an additional sauce for meat. Portions were hardy for 2 people and although we didn't need refills, the servers were plenty friendly and I'm certain would've provided free of charge to a reasonable degree. the ?owner was very involved during the night and VERY attentive and friendly. the server was pleasant and knowledgeable. definitely will recommend and will be back. it would be FAR FAR busier in a different location in evenings (i.e. if it was in an osae type of location, if would be equally busy as osae with rapid turnover)....

To put it bluntly, spending $33 here for hotpot was one of the most regretful decisions I’ve made — this place completely ruined my dining experience. I chose to eat here after a woman (possibly the owner) kindly explained that although there isn’t a separate sauce bar, they could provide sauces upon request. That explanation seemed fair — until the actual service began. Our server, a medium-length-haired man, clearly struggled with English — which I was willing to understand. But what made the situation unacceptable was his complete lack of effort to communicate. I had to use a translation app and show him pictures just to be understood — and even then, he didn’t fully get it and showed no willingness to clarify. What upset me the most was his rude, dismissive attitude. He looked visibly annoyed, never once apologized, and spoke in a curt, indifferent manner. It felt like serving us was a burden to him. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially at a paid buffet. Even basic service was lacking. The menu was taken from our table and never returned unless we asked. When we needed more sauce, no one came to check on us — we had to get up and speak to the server directly just to get basic assistance. No one ever asked if we were okay or needed anything — a clear sign that this restaurant has no service mindset. The server himself also made the environment uncomfortable by speaking unusually loudly, much louder than any other customer or staff member, disrupting the atmosphere. The only redeeming part of the visit was the woman who greeted us — she at least tried to listen and assist, which is the only reason I’m giving even one star. As for the food: while it’s labeled “all-you-can-eat,” the variety was poor, and the quality did not match the $33 price tag. This restaurant urgently needs to improve its service standards, staff training, and clarity around their offerings. If you’re hoping for an enjoyable dining experience, this is absolutely not the place.

The atmosphere of The Hot Pot (the misconstrued S is steam) greets this Vietnamese Pho restaurant (Google, please add this option) with a modern rustic ambiance. The staff creates a warm, inviting atmosphere and maintains a display that immerses you within appropriate seasonal themes. The service was extremely expeditious, and I was served within a matter of minutes. When the Pho was presented, the vegetables had a fresh appearance, and the mint provided a euphoric memory of walking through a mint patch as a kid. The Pho broth provided an elegent blast of positive spices (not hot) without adding additional vegetables or spices. The beef slices had a succulent tenderness that felt as if they melted away. The mint leaves provided an eccentric accent that further enticed my tastebuds. Every bite taken provided me with the same excitement and joy from the first time I was introduced to the dish.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Food and atmosphere are amazing! I had the Lobster Soup and the Tom Yum. . . both VERY delicious! See pics for all of the hot pot ingredients that I chose :) The hosts are extremely friendly and attentive. I wish I took pics of the entire place, but there is a stage for Karaoke & live music on certain nights. There's a huge movie screen that had underwater ocean video with tons of tropical fish swimming - the perfect visual tropical get away! The decor is modern, but very comfortable. You can get dressed up or down @ The Hot Spot! The menu caters to the adventurous eater and the not so adventurous eater - something for everyone and the kids. I went during early lunch time before the rush. I plan on going back with family and friends very soon!
