Worst dining experience in recent history. In my quest to find the best wings in Colo Spgs, I decided to try this place during lunch and the service, and I use that term loosely, was a bad joke, overshadowing the food. I sat at the bar in plain view of the cook and after nearly ten minutes (yes, I count), he came out and asked if he could help me, telling me that the bartender must be outside talking to her babysitter(?!). I ordered the wings and a drink. He told me the amount and I said "ok"...he stood there and said I need to pay immediately "or the boss will get mad at me"(?!). I asked how I'm supposed to figure out the tip with the bartender/server missing and he said to go ahead and tip him. This is when I should have left but instead, morbid curiosity and my lunch hour withering away kept me there. The cook starts cooking an then plates...and then walks past me to the corner of the bar, setting the food down. I am the only customer waiting for food and then the bartender finally materializes and starts eating her lunch(?!?!?!)...20 minutes after they opened! My food came afterwards...the wing sauce tasted like traditional Buffalo, which is great, the chicken had good meat to them and were cooked well. The mushroom batter was not burnt but it tasted like it, maybe the fryer was overdue a change. Back to the service..as the bartender was yapping away on her phone and eating and the cook was not around, I saw they didn't give me a fork. Well my 15% pre-paid tip ensured I got to get up, walk over to the prep area and search for a fork. The server eventually refilled my drink after I interrupted her chatting with regulars. You know, I'm done typing this review, this place sucks and I will never return there, nor the adjoining Omelette Parlor, that the owner also apparently owns. Dive bars are awesome because the people make up for the presentation...this place had neither, I got...
Read moreOk people, I have to tell you I have lived in Colorado Springs for 21 years And 21 years I have been looking for the best Burger In Colorado Springs, I had always heard of ofurrys, but had never tried it, When I decided to give it a try. I went to their establishment and they were closed for remodeling, such a bummer! So for several years I didn't bother going back. Then one day I decided OK I'll call and get an order to go . so I tried calling and their phone line was busy and busy and busy and busy for hours so I decided OK I'll drive down there and I'll get in order to go and I'll have a bloody Mary while I'm waiting! The place was packed! So I proceeded to order my food and while I was doing so I ran into an old friend. I ordered a bloody Mary while I was waiting and it was the worst bloody Mary I had ever tasted so I told my friend this is the worst bloody Mary I've ever tasted! He went down and bought me a new bloody Mary that the bartender made ¬ the other guy, It was very good. I have to tell you I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with curly fries to go and they were so slammed it took over an hour to get my food, But I'm one of those people that believe good things come to those who wait! But when I got it there was no bacon on my cheeseburger! And I was So hungry on the way home I decided to eat some of the curly fries, I gotta tell ya I don't think it was just cause I was so hungry those were the best curly fries I ever tasted, And people for 21 years I've been looking for the best cheese Burger in town even though they forgot the bacon I'm willing to forgive because it was the best cheese Burger I have ever had! So although everything wasn't perfect it was still...

There weren't many patrons, few at the bar and this was around 6pm on a Saturday. However, it did start to pick up closer to 7pm. Ordered the Double Dipped Wings well done and added a order of the fried mushrooms and zucchini w/Bleu cheese and ranch. Everything was cooked to order and took about 20 minutes. Only option for the wings is buffalo but it's not a wet sauce and not very hot. Almost taste grilled or smoked. My 8yo was able to eat them and liked them. The fried veggies were delicious and the ranch and Bleu cheese tasted like it may be made in house. I will say the person who rang me up did not come off super friendly. However, when I came back in to pickup I believe the cook or one of the cooks was upfront and he was very warm and welcoming. We love good wings and these were the best so far in the Springs. We'll be back anytime we're on that...
