So excited to eat at Red Lobster since the last time we went had been several yrs ago. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by host and a waiter passing by. 😀 Our waiter with a big personality was friendly but quickly learned he had a short attention span! 😕
We never received our appetizer which was the stuffed mushrooms until the end of our meal.☹️ One of the orders was the Lobster Pizza (which was supposed to be a meal) arrived as an appetizer. 😕 Our mother order trout which was plain & dry. We asked our waiter 2x for tartar sauce. Quite a bit of time (10-12 min) passed as mom's meal was getting cold still no tartar sauce!😕😕 I finally turned to another waiter & asked for tartar sauce & he brought it immediately. 😀 Then later our assigned waiter finally brought tartar sauce 15 minutes later.😕 We asked for several to-go boxes which our waiter brought at the end of our meal.
Went to the bathroom 2x. Once when we first arrived and after our meal before we left. Disappointed to see a trail of food crumbs & scraps throughout the floor as we walked to the bathroom! 😳😳 Amazing how it made such a nice restaurant look unkept and dirty!! ☹️☹️ Our waiter compensated us buy taking off the mushrooms because they arrived at the end of our meal. Overall this was not a good experience for a long-awaited return to Red Lobster 🦞.
We definitely don't have the desire to return when paying the prices we paid for our meals! My friends were visiting from Texas & remember our great experiences at Red Lobster in Denver growing up. They wanted to go to Red Lobster because they didn't have one near them in Texas. NOT a great experience overall! ☹️☹️☹️
The most memorable part of the whole meal from me was the brussel sprouts which were off the chart so yummy good!!😋 My salmon dinner w/shrimp was pretty good moist & flavorful. Mom's trout was tasty but dry & definitely needed tartar sauce. Was NOT impressed at all with the lobster pizza! ☹️ After waiting all that time for the stuffed mushrooms they were just okay. 😕 The desert was fine.
We would have to give this whole meal and experience 3-stars ⭐⭐⭐...
Read moreIt’s was my moms turn to pick and pay this weekend for our mother daughter weekly luncheon.
She text me the night before that she wants to go to Red Lobster. I immediately craved their cheddar biscuits agreed and couldn’t wait to go. I asked my mom what brought up Red Lobster and she said: “I saw their commercial”.
To be fair her and I both admitted we did not think it was going to be as good as it was… and we are both I agreeance that this has by far been our best meal out so far!
We were so incredibly impressed with the service, the delicious meal, and the portion was perfect for us to share.
My mom was very adamant that she would be “coming back”, also implied was, “next weekend”. (Not gonna happen kinda an unspoken rule - we eat somewhere different every weekend).
The cheddar biscuits were good, not exactly as I remembered them but full of flavor and warm.
We ordered a big and bigger margarita. They were delicious.
We decided to share the Steak and Blackened Salmon with Loaded Mashed Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts.
I am a HUGE fan of Brussels sprouts and these had to have been some of the best. They were so crisp and ever so slightly charred, the taste of the sauce used on them was such a great compliment.
The Loaded Mashed Potatoes were also very tasty, another favorite of mine from our meal today.
The Blackened Salmon was delicious, moist.
The Steak was good. I’ll admit I liked it better with A1.
We were stuffed after sharing this meal.
But I could not resist their Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. My mom and I made an attempt at splitting one and couldn’t finish. It was also very good, and hit the spot.
We were promptly greeted by a friendly young lady when we arrived. And our waiter DaShawn was prompt in greeting the table and checking in with us throughout our meal. He was friendly and personable, I quite enjoyed how he asked if we were out on a girls lunch or something along those lines, engaging himself with his customers. He did a great job!
(Excuse the pictures as I forget to take them until AFTER I’ve cut everything up...

I normally am not a fan of writing negative Google reviews, but my husband and I have tried to fill out the online feedback form (broken) and call the corporate feedback number (no answer) so here we are.
We came in for dinner on a Tuesday evening (10/25) and I can honestly say it's the first time I've ever left a restaurant hungrier than when I arrived.
We arrived around 6:45 and were seated immediately as it was not a very busy night. The person who sat us left us with menus and told us our server would be with us shortly, but unfortunately that was the last we heard from anyone. After about 10 minutes of waiting we started thinking it was odd that nobody had brought us water or taken our drink orders, but were still hopeful (and really excited for endless shrimp!). My husband jokingly decided to set a timer on his watch to see how much longer it would be until someone helped us.
Shortly after, another party was seated at a table across from us, and their server promptly came to check on them and take drink orders, but still nobody had even acknowledged us.
After another 10+ minutes of waiting (and at least 2 servers and possibly a manager walking by our table multiple times) we decided to leave and go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner instead.
I am still completely dumfounded that we could sit in a restaurant for over twenty minutes with multiple employees walking past our table and not a single one even stopping to see if we had been helped yet or bringing us water. We normally tip well and spend at least $80-100 every time we visit Red Lobster, but after this experience we will not be back ,which is...
