Went to this Starbucks on 04/09/24 it didn’t open till 5:30 a.m and I was outside waiting in line at 5:12 a.m for the release of the Starbucks Stanley spring blue 40oz tumbler. I was told by employee named Caleb (shift leader) they had five cups total. At about 5:25 a young woman pulls up in parking lot gets out of her vehicle waits with me for store to open. At 5:30 a.m the store opened only two Stanley tumblers were on shelf I grabbed both of them and told a worker (Amber) Caleb said there was five cups can I please get two more she told we didn’t get five those two are it. At this point had no reason not to believe her, so I purchased my two cups and a drank. While my drink was being made I over heard the amber and the girl who came at 5:25 a.m talking amber asked the girl if she was there for a cup the girl said yes and that her shift didn’t start till later. So know I know the girl is an employee and is there for a cup so I get my drink and cups head to my car I get in and watch them thru window amber goes in back gets a cup hands it to girl and she leaves. I go back in and confront amber I asked her why she lied in my face she said she didn’t two is all they had the girl who was a worker as well had put a cup aside before they released I asked how is that allowed amber told me as employees they get to try all new things food, drinks, and products.i asked for store Manager (James) he wasn’t there I got his business card number on card was to store I called got corporate number corporate told he they were not 100% sure of police on the matter but would have distract manger( terry ) contact me. I also contacted Stanley customer service and they told me they can’t speak for Starbucks or there policies but customer service did make it clear the cups are for public not for employees.the district manager contacted me on 04/10/24 and cleared up my concerns and questions. He told me employees are not allowed to get cups or products before there release date and can not put them away then release what ever is left to the public. And if employees want to purchase a cup they come on a time off there shift and wait just like everyone else for a cup. Over all employees lied about amount of stock they had employees go thru packages and products and get things before the public even has a chance to purchase them. Manager of store took no responsibility or acknowledged any thing wrong went on. Will not being going back to this...
Read more5,000,000 stars for Kelly!!!!!
Kelly showed me such kindness and compassion, completely unprompted and with no context from me (it's been a really rough time the past few months, and this excursion was me attempting to "treat myself," which I almost never do).
It was a super hot day, and I asked for an ice water for my dog. In response, Kelly immediately asked if she could give me a pup cup. This relatively small gesture absolutely floored me and made my day. (Doggo was ECSTATIC. He's never had one before.)
Everything else was spectacular — it's a new and beautiful Starbucks, the other staff were just as friendly, and my sandwich was delicious.
What's funny about the sandwich is that I only have it once every year or two [it's so good, but I rarely eat out and barely ever on my own], and this particular sammy is pretty hard to find; I had to check 5+ Starbucks before finding this one that had it in stock.
Anyway, back to Kelly and the pup cup — thank you SO VERY MUCH for all the kindness you showed us that day. I have told everyone within a 500mi radius about it, and I hope someone at corporate spots this review and gets you something nice for it. You deserve it.
Thanks again for bringing light, joy, and humanity into the universe! I am still riding such a high. Starbucks and the entire world are lucky...
Read moreMy vehicle had broken down and I was unable to stay parked at the establishment near by; so my friend asked Starbucks if we could park there and wait for our tow and they were happy to oblige. Unfortunately my tow was very delayed, and I was stuck there with a dead phone and very little money. When I went to purchase something so I could sit in the ac and charge my phone, the staff smiled and said "you don't have to buy something to hangout. Would you like an ice water?" When I thanked them and said not everyone treated me like that; I was given another smile and told " you're a person, youre allowed to exist". I will give any and all business I have to this Starbucks, they really take care of their community. That being said I have seen more donations at food banks from Starbucks than most any other vendor who donates. Thank you to the staff there who nearly made me cry just by making me feel human in a...
