Horrible experience. I was actually a weekly customer... the food has been pretty good 95% of the time. Today, my visit took almost an hour after everything was said and done. There was a vehicle that came after I had already ordered, who then orders after me, and was served before me. This was after already waiting 20 plus minutes. The drive thru server...(I didn't catch her name, wish I did... but she was a younger girl with a cross or something tattooed by her eye... somewhere on her face)...She brings out our food, then goes back in because she forgot to bring out something for the order ahead...blocking me in. I tried calling out for her a couple of times, as the customer ahead was still blocking me, waiting for the remainder of their food. The first time she came out, she ignored me and finally responded to me after her second time coming out to drive thru... she had to make 2 separate trips; but I tell her that I would like a refund because my food was cold, I was in line already waiting almost 30 minutes, to seeing someone else getting served before me (from the other drive thru) when I was there before that customer, to getting the response (with a smirk) "I don't really agree with that." Wow... really?!? ...I didn't just make this whole scenario up...I expected maybe 10 or 15 minutes tops, but going on about 30 minutes to being called a liar for calling out the 'service' I don't think anyone in their right mind would ask for. She totally had an attitude and walked away. No apology...but basically calling me a liar. It then took another person who I assume was presenting as management, since he was wearing a different shirt. I try to explain the situation to him as well and it just seemed like the info went in one ear and out the other, like he just didn't care. He asks me how I paid, then went back inside...not even acknowledging what I was complaining about. I wait outside for another 10 minutes, for him to bring me cash when I paid with my card. I re-iterate that they need to re-evaluate their customer service, especially with the interaction I had with the server... and once again...it's like it didn't matter. There wasn't even an apology for the issue... he did say thanks for letting them know. We ended up having to go to Culver's... good food and service... there was a slight wait, but the server apologized for the wait with kindness. I think this place may have lost...
Read moreI placed an order online via the app to be picked up through the drive-thru. Upon arriving, there was one car at the window, and a second car ordering at the second speaker. Not once, in the entire time the other person was ordering (a good 5-10 minutes), did anyone get on the speaker I was at to help me, or even tell me they’d be back to help me. After the other car finished their order, we sat another 5-10 minutes where no one came on to address us at all. Finally, someone came on and asked “have you been helped yet”, to which we replied “no, we’re picking up an online order.” But before even being able to finish that sentence, we were interrupted and told “oh I was just checking to see.” They never said another word, never acknowledged that we had an online order, and never offered to take our order. After another 3-5 minutes from that, the same person came on the speaker and said “are you guys ready yet?” Very rudely and with attitude might I add. So once again, we explained that we had an online order and were directed to pull forward. Once we got up to the window, we were ignored for another 5 minutes, and were finally asked what the name on our order was. We said the name to which the girl repeated back a completely different name. We waited and waited and waited and after almost 20 more minutes had gone by, the incompetent little girl working the drive-thru came and said “yeah, so we don’t have an order for you. We can’t find anything for that name.” So at this point, obviously I was getting heated and went off about how ridiculous this entire situation had been. She said she would be getting the manager and walked away never to be seen again. We told the manager that we wanted a refund and showed her the order with payment completed in the app. It was then explained to us that the other girl didn’t realize the order had been filled already and was in the order ahead area. Not once was a refund, a coupon, a free item voucher, or even an apology offered. Of course by the time we left, our food was cold and soggy from having to wait all that time. Which is insane seeing as they weren’t even that busy.. 3 cars in the drive thru, wow. 0/10 stars. Do better. We wonder why society is so unhappy. Read moreWe went here for lunch and had the weirdest experience. We ordered out food and it was delivered quickly. For the most part we liked the food.
The weird part came when we placed a second order for three coffees. We were given a table number for that order and waited. Ten minutes later an employee walked past us and picked up the number. I followed her to the counter and told her we were waiting for coffees.
She looked at me and said "Oh, I gifted those to another table." Yes, she said "gifted". She looked at me a bit longer, not saying anything, and finally said "I'll go check on that." It seemed she was waiting for me to say okay and forget about it.
Another 10 minutes passed and another employee came by. We stopped him and explained we were still waiting for coffees. He said he'd check.
Another 3 minutes (we were timing it by this point) and our coffees arrived - 23 minutes from when we placed the order and 13 minutes after an employee "gifted" them to another table.
I can only think that the first employee couldn't take the time to check where the order belonged and just put them on the tray for the order she was working on.
But then, when asked about the order, it seemed she expected us to be okay with what she had done.
This is the first time we ever went to a What a Burger and the experience doesn't make us want to go back. There are too many other places to go that don't gift your orders to other tables and...
