So this could have been my new go to place. We just recently discovered ziggy’s maybe about 2 months ago, and it is super close to my work, so it makes it a perfect place to stop on the way to work or just to get a treat any time. The coffee and drinks are good I will give that much, here’s where the problem is. Staff, customer service, consistency. I always order the same drink. I use the app, just because its more convenient and my drink will be ready and I won’t have to wait. My drink literally I kid you not every.single.time. Is different. One day it will be really dark and some days it looks vanilla. It is not made the same. When this first happened i asked about it and they said yeah that’s ypur drink and i was like …okayyy. But it happened several other occasions and I cant understand why when I’m using the app and ordering the exact same thing. It always taste good so i just drink it. Don’t really care for some random drink and would like to have what I ordered but whatever. So Sunday me and my husband order coffee and he gets a cinnamon roll and I got a breakfast sandwich when we pull up she hands me my drink. Well it was iced and I ordered a frozen drink this time they still try to play it off like this is my drink. Well no, no its not susan because my drink should be frozen not have ice. The girl at the window was nice and said it was only her second week and she didn’t know if that was the drink or not saying they could remake it. Ok. Well another blond headed woman comes to the window and has a huge attitude with me about it being the right drink, and not just that, she wanted to argue with me about my breakfast sandwich refusing to give it to me telling me I didn’t order that. I said ok well let me show you on the app. She was super rude and made me feel very unwelcome. She asked me to pull into the parking lot and wait for my things. I waited for almost 20 minutes. Very frustrating when you have plans and that is why I originally used the app to begin with. I will not go to this location again. For the price of these $8 coffees I expect chick fil-a type service. My drink should be perfect and not come with an attitude. Also, look at my pic, does it look like that on the app? Where is the...
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION. EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE EVEN AFTER YOU TIP, AND EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER ON TIME. THEY WILL MAKE OTHER PEOPLE'S ORDERS BEFORE YOURS EVEN IF THE OTHER OERSON CAME SECOND.
I went to the Chapel Hills location and my order was messed up again. I asked for a raspberry truffle with whipped cream and was given a regular latte. I can't drink it because I ordered decaf and can't trust that it was made with decaf. I mean, if the barista can't do the simple task of putting syrup in a drink, how do I know they can push the decaf button? Based on other people's reviews this is a very common occurrence and the staff at this location doesn't pay enough attention to the drink orders. I was given credit because my order was incorrect last time. Why even bother with credit if it's wasted on an incorrectly made drink?!
This location should be closed for extensive training.
UPDATE: I was told to talk to corporate if I had a problem. There was no manager on duty. Well yeah, the employees are extremely rude and disorganized. I got my two drinks that were the exact same order, except one looked like a mocha and the other looked like a white mocha...I ordered two caramel macchiatos. And, my food order was processed after two drive thru orders that arrived after me. Such a disaster of a location, and the employees are rude if you question where your order is that you tipped for.
UPDATE WITH CORPORATE: corporate doesn't care, I recived this email response "Thank you for reaching out. What is the email associated with your app account? We would like to add a credit to your account."
No apology, just a cut and paste response. I guess how they treat customers starts at the top with a "we don't...
Read moreI have been to this location twice before and I have liked it in general, however when I went there yesterday I was very unhappy. I ordered a large tea, and when I went to sit down after picking it up, it started spilling all over the sides. I was so shocked from the suddenness and pain of the extremely hot tea pouring over my hand and legs, that I jumped and even more tea spilled. I couldn't understand how that happened, as the amount of tea that spilled was not equivalent to the size of the opening in the lid, and when I took a closer look I realized that the lid on the cup hadn't been closed. My hand was hurting pretty badly, and when I came up to ask for a different cup so that the lid could actually close, the staff offered me some ice for my hand and mentioned that they have noticed that their cups have been worse in quality recently and will take note of the incident. I'm not sure why the quality couldn't have been taken into account before something happened. My fingers hurt all day yesterday and after applying ointment there is still some pain and red marks today, but I am grateful that it's not worse. My frustration is that the staff knew that the cups had issues and didn't double check the cup before giving it to me, after which I burned my hand. The tea tasted...
