Posting this at 4 pm, Monday, January 20, 2025:
We came on Christmas day and it was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We waited approximately 40 minutes and NEVER GOT OUR FOOD. What we did get was watery onion rings, and yes, to confirm, WATERY onion rings. I took a bite and as I pulled back , a steam of fluid literally poured out of my onion ring. I picked up the basket and walked to the area where the manager stood and handed them to her. My husband and I are in our 50's and 60's, so we thought the manager was genuinely apologetic when we paid for our drinks (which should have been comped, but whatever) there for over 45 mins, paying almost $10 for coffee and a soda, on Christmas night.
Ok, so my husband and I have been here a handful of times, approximately 6-10. This is because they are conveniently located in between a few hotels off the highway.
Nobody's perfect, I get that, but so many times they have left things out that we've been charged for, like extra bacon. Dine in, online orders, doesn't matter, WE OFTEN PAY FOR WHAT WE NEVER RECEIVE.
So here we are, came back to give Denny's ANOTHER CHANCE. WHY, WHY, WHY??? Your guess is good as mine! This is not rocket since. It must take extra perseverance to CONSISTENTLY MESS UP! I just pointed out to the waitress that I didn't want cheese. I hadn't realized that it was still made with cheese despite specifically asking not to. I initially didn't notice when I bit into it, however what I did notice was my burger was really cold, that's when I also noticed the cheese. I told the waitress, who traded it out for a bowl of the saltiest soup I've ever had the displeasure of tasting!
Today, January 20, 2025, this Denny's manager told the waitress who allegedly called her at my request, that she didn't remember us and to give us a 20% discount. That is NOT what the manager said to us on Christmas when we walked out of Denny's, mot getting edible food after a 45 minute wait at 9 pm. What she did do was BEG for us to come back and promised to take care of us on our next visit. Christmas wasn't that long ago! How convenient that she forgot about us... 20%??Puhhhleeez! My husband makes $55 an hour, keep your 20%, cuz you are losing our patronage.
I will mention that Jasmine, today's server went out of her way as much as she was able to, even going so far as to call the manager. Shame, shame, shame, on this manager for not keeping her word, nit valuing PAYING CUSTOMERS, and running a crappy restaurant that consistently misses the mark...
Read moreI used to love this place! We would come here all the time. Whoever the new server is with black hair, is single handed losing the owners business. Yikes! I went in tonight with two children and ordered dinner. Everything was fine until the food came. The kids food was great, but my breakfast was burned to a crisp. I’m talking like plastic the consistency of plastic, I ordered a grand slam with pancakes (which were good and the only thing I ate) hash browns, extra crispy bacon, and eggs. I always mix up everything on my plate and then add ketchup and eat it. We’ve been here. Hundreds of times and I get the same thing every time. The hash browns looked like they were deep fried until there was nothing left. But no big deal, I just set it at the end of the table where she could see it and waited for her to come back. My drink was empty when she brought our food so I was expecting not to wait long. I waited over 25 minutes. My kids finished their meal and she was nowhere to be found. I spent our entire dinner looking for her. I finally got irritated and just decided to leave, so I went and waited at the front to pay. There, I waited another 12ish minutes and when she finally came, I gently told Ahmet about the food and that I tried to get it swapped out. The second I mentioned the food and pointed to it on the table, her demeanor changed and she got extremely loud and frankly frightening! She berated me very loudly in-front of many other customers. She almost yelled word for for, “ WELL THATS YOUR OWN FAULT! YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT UP AND TRIED TO FIND ME TO TELL ME” I was shocked!! It’s already hard for me to give feedback that’s less than perfect. I asked “it’s my fault that my food was burnt and you never came to check on us once? I should have gotten up from my booth to physically grab you? She repeated again loudly “YES”
Needless to say, that’s the last 40 bucks Dennys is getting from me until that lady is gone. I’ve never been treated like that. It goes beyond having to pay for food that I wasn’t able to even eat. That level of disrespect is crazy!! Today is July 4th- I overheard the server tell the cook that she made 400.00 yesterday. I also heard her be rude to the table next to me as I was leaving. ☹️

Read moreWorst experience I’ve had out to eat ever. Not an exaggeration. The server Calvin needs to be fired. This guy isn’t competent enough to read a book let alone take a food order. Management/ownership is also terrible and no better than him. My friend and I stopped in after work at 3:30am to get some food before bed. We were the only table in the restaurant and our server didn’t come see us for about 15 minutes, which was when a (presumably) manager screamed at him to go take our order. So he did and when he came to our table before he greeted us he put on an embarrassing spectacle in front of us saying that it wasn’t his fault that he didn’t know the only table in the restaurant was his and that because we were “cool guys” it wasn’t an issue. My friend and I spoke for an hour (I checked my phone and confirmed this) catching up with each other when our server for the first time in an hour came to see us and asked if we got our food. We told him no, and he realized he never put our order in. We were the only table in the restaurant since we got there. During this time over 10 dirty tables covered in dishes sat without being cleaned. Until our server started to and did 10 minutes worth a work over the course of the hour he didn’t talk to us. The floor was also disgusting and I don’t think our table was wiped down either. I counted at least 3 people working front of house who didn’t help us either. Eventually we got our food and then when we went to pay we asked for our bill of $22 to be taken care of for us. Since we had to wait nearly an hour and a half as the only table in a dirty restaurant. So he went to the back to I’m guessing speak with a manager and he comes back saying they couldn’t even give us a discount higher than a 10% for military. If it wasn’t after 5 in the morning at this point I would’ve put up a fight but I decided to just not tip. I’ve never seen anything like this.
