Update 4/18: We never received the refund we were promised. I am extremely frustrated that I have to follow up on this in the first place. This entire process has been a disaster. Please don’t call me. I just want my money back.
We are beyond disappointed with our experience tonight. We placed an order for delivery at 8pm. Around 8:30pm it marked as out for delivery. We waited. And waited. And waited… finally we look it up and they closed at 9pm. It’s now 9:30pm. So we call the store, and no explanation at all as to why our order was just never delivered. We were offered a refund. I have to say, after waiting an hour 30 minutes for our food and now with most food options have closed for the evening… this was really upsetting. A manager (I think) called back after we had spoken to the original person. They said the address was put in was wrong (which we verified, it wasn’t the case) and a vague “we will get you a free meal next time you come in”. They didn’t tell us how to redeem this offer or ask for any of our information to ensure we were able to get it. I walked into an empty store. No customers and no staff in view. I could hear someone talking in the back. Waited 2 mins for someone to even see that I had walked in. My order was ready, but the girl who appeared to be on a short break ended up getting my order. The other woman who was still talking, had mayonnaise in her hand, so it appears she was restocking. All understandable, but complaining about how she never has time to eat. Dangerous situation if potentially a different person walked through the door. No eyes...
Read moreI've always enjoyed the sandwiches I ordered from here. Be realistic in your expectations though. Don't think you're going to get an authentic Philly sub or something like that. This is a chain restaurant, and I think they are better than rest such as Firehouse, Whichwich, etc.
My issues are with the online ordering system and how it is communicated to the employees to process these orders. Today I placed an order in advance because I had A LOT going on at work and I needed to be in and out. I had to wait in a large line to receive my order (which had been sitting there since the moment I arrived). What is the point of ordering in advance if we have to wait in line anyway? I live 6 minutes away and this whole ordeal took 40 mins...
