When I think of Restore Dental, I think a Haven for your teeth. Especially if you are like me and have had some not so great experiences at other dental offices. Due to those other experiences I felt so embarrassed about my teeth and it wasn't so much the dental work that was needed but the shaming I would feel. But all that changed the day I made my first appointment at Restore Dental. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile. And you know how some offices have you wait a good while till you are seen. That's not the case with Restore Dental, they are conscious of your time. They get you back and started pretty quickly. There is so much good I could say about this office. Starting with Dr. Dave, he just cares about his patients and it shows in his work and how he talks to you. Not to mention he has mastered making shots not hurt. Dr. Dave never makes you feel like you are a problem and he takes the time to sit and chat with you. You don't feel like just a dollar sign to him. Which is why I have trusted him with my teeth. I trust that he doesn't just see money when he see's my teeth and that takes away so much of the stress and anxiety of going to the dentist. You know that you are getting what your teeth truly needs. Let's not forget his PATIENCE. He has patience for days, when dealing with my 3 boys (6,9,13) one who has Autism. I've taken my kids to a different dental office and my son was labeled that difficult kid you put in the quiet room. As a mom going in with that expectation you can't help but feel embarrassed at times. But here at Restore Dental we have had no issues, including all 3 being cavity free this last appointment. Abby has worked with my boys and she has been amazing. Answering their questions, teaching them abut proper teeth brushing and that girl has patience also! Restore Dental has been amazing for my family. Katlyn she is Dr. Dave's assistant and she has been nothing but AMAZING towards me and my boys. Talking me out of my anxiety and distracting me from what is happening. I am that PATIENT, the one who gets nervous and asks a million questions and Katlyn doesn't make me feel like that PATIENT but a friend and that means the world to me. She has been so kind and friendly every single appointment I've had. Now let me talk about Brandi, one of Restore Dental's Hygienist, my teeth have never felt so clean after one of her appointments. So much so, me with my dental anxiety wants to book an extra cleaning a year, even if it means paying out of pocket. That's how AMAZING HER CLEANINGS ARE. She listens, she educates and she is your friend. I think that's one of the BIGGEST things I LOVE about Restore Dental, it's not just one person but the team. They make up Restore Dental, they make up the teeth haven. They are the DREAM TEAM. Restore Dental is just friendly and every single one of them makes you feel welcomed. Lastly but not least, I want to mention Mary, she has helped me with scheduling and calculating my cost. Helping me to understand my insurance, not making me feel dumb for not knowing how it works. That's important, how you treat a person. It matters. If you haven't switched over to Restore Dental it's time to make the call or text another perk! Because they are no ordinary dental office, they are family. I should have written this review a year ago, but a year later, cleanings, crowns & fillings later. With each appointment Dr. Dave and his team has chipped away at my dental anxiety. So thank you...
Read moreI was with this practice when it was under the previous ownership (aka Kids First Dental and Visage Dentistry). Service has not declined at all under the new ownership. I think I like it more now. I've visited several times as well as my husband and taken my three kids to see Dr Dave Chiu. He is extremely nice and takes the time to make sure your questions are answered. He was great with my kids (18 mo - 8 years) and made them feel comfortable. The office is nice and clean. I really loved the full 3D dental images they take (free) that allow you to really clearly see what they are seeing. Everyone in this office from the drs to front desk staff are notably friendly and positive. I especially like Louie at the front desk who is always quick to help with anything you need. One thing I really love is how helpful and upfront they are about costs and insurance coverages. I get that insurance is complicated and no medical office wants to make it sound like they are guaranteeing your insurance coverage but too many offices refuse to even answer any questions about your coverage even though they can often get info faster and more clearly than the patient can. When offices just tell you to call your insurance it can lead to more mistakes/misunderstandings since it's hard for the patient to know exactly how the office is going to bill it. This office makes it so easy and they are super nice about it. They provide transparent pricing showing insurance coverage and patient portion on their treatment plans and several times I've asked about costs associated with optional services (like nitrous for fillings) when I was in the office and they are happy to check for you super quick and let you know...
Read moreFind somewhere else to go! Started going Restore and had a couple of cleanings, then Dr. Dave wanted to fill 2 cavities in November of 2024. During the initial appointment he had issues filling the upper tooth #12 and the appointment took longer than usual. Pain started in this tooth as soon as the novocaine wore off. I’ve went back in 6 times I believe between November-April of this year. Had the tooth completely refilled, had the filling shaved down and reshaped a couple of times and nothing has helped. I never had the slightest bit of pain with this tooth before and now I am sensitive to cold, sugar and have pain when eating hard foods. Dr. Dave basically told me- well we didn’t mean to mess up so we won’t pay anything to fix it beyond what we’ve already done. If you need a root canal it’s on your dime… His attitude changed towards me in my last appointment when I told him that I would not be returning to Restore for cleanings and other dental work in the future. He told me to give it some time and just let it settle and see if it goes away since they had been poking at it so much. It’s now been 3 months since my last appointment and they’ve never called or followed up to see how I’m doing. I also have a co-worker who came here and had issues with a crown that was put in by Dr. Dave so I’m not the only one. There’s a dentist on every corner, go to literally...
