MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado

Have been at this location several times pre Covid with no issues. Ordered take out a few weeks ago and it ended up sitting on the shelf for over 15 min before they figured out my last name. Left an “ok” review when asked about my experience and received the standard auto response stating they appreciated my feedback and would share it with their team to make future visits better. Fast forward to today. I figured it was a glitch and expected better results.....well...... not so much. By their calculations my curbside is order to be ready at 6:23pm. Reflecting back to my last experience I went in to check on the order at 6:15pm and let the person know I was waiting outside. At 6:30pm the gentleman came out stating one of my pizzas was lost and if he could offer me a drink. I politely thanked him and declined but made sure he understood I had visitors at the house and needed to get back. At 6:43pm I walked back and saw the employees rushing to box the last pizza. Slightly irritated as he walked past me I asked if they were mine and he handed them to me. No apologies... just a “GFY”. When I pointed at my watch asking if he could pass long my displeasure to a Manager, he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry, turned his back and walked away. This is my go to place for pizza for my wife and I.

Why?

The food is inexpensive as far as eating out goes. Mod pizza also lets you add as many toppings as you'd like at no extra cost and with tons of options, it's easy to indulge on your favorites.

The food actually tastes good! Pizza is generally good no matter where you go, but Mod Pizza has interesting choices like artichoke hearts, bressel sprouts, and even a balsamic fig glaze.

The atmosphere is family friendly and relaxing when it's not busy, and pleasant when it is. Usually it's really busy on the weekends around dinner time. Expect a 30+ minute extra wait during peak hours.

Online ordering is fast, simple, and during non peak hours the food is usually ready on time or just a little early. Otherwise peak hours will delay your online order about 20-45 mins past the estimated time.

Overall, I definitely recommend this place for good and inexpensive pizza in a family...

I have no choice but to give this destination 5 stars. I’ve been to a lot of Mod Pizza’s and this one by far has the best service, cleanest building, and, of course, best pizza. The staff are not only welcoming, but are 100% going to chat it up with you. All they want to do is make your pizza the way you want it down to the finest details. They asked me one time if there was enough cheese, which I appreciate because I don’t like my pizza drowned in cheese. I’m gluten free and dairy free, and this is the only place I know of that supplies dairy free cheese. That shows how much they care. I also love how diverse the staff is, and there are no problems ever. That shows truly that we can #coexist. But the pizza is truly phenomenal.
