Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Four Corners States

One of our boys asked for a mint chip ice cream cake with chocolate cake for his birthday. I figured the best option was to have it made at BR to get everything he wanted. Photo on the left is what I ordered, clearly a fondant icing, and pale color with gray beading along the bottom. More clean lines and mature colors. The bow tie is sharp lines and also molded out of fondant. I get there and the cake on the right is what was ready. It was hideous. Looked like some ugly ocean cake they globbed on a sort of bow tie. Complete wrong colors that stained everything so bad it wasn’t even funny. The guy working was clearly embarrassed to be giving it over and I didn’t want to take it. Who orders the left and wants the right? He called his manger and she said I could leave without or just take a few dollars off. Like $6 off a $40 cake! Party was in about two hours. I had no choice. He said, the photos aren’t theirs and not done by them. Like by BR at all. So they can’t say they will look like what is in the picture. So why put them up?! FYI, don’t go by their custom photos and think you will get what you are hoping for. You might get garbage and they won’t care. Go anywhere else; and it will be better. I recently visited the Baskin-Robbins location at Highlands ranch and was shocked by the unacceptable behavior of a female staff member. Despite being the only customer in the store, the employee seemed completely uninterested in serving me.

When I ordered my ice cream, she barely looked up from her phone and handed it over carelessly. No smile, no greeting, no courtesy whatsoever. It was as if I was disturbing her personal time.

What struck me was the lack of professionalism and respect. There were no other customers, so it wasn't like she was busy. Her attitude was dismissive and rude.

The girl who helped us was very nice and the service was good. She deserves 5 stars for working in this filth. When we sat down, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. Wow, the place is filthy. I don't mean messy and need to be wiped down. I mean, it is disgusting and needs a deep clean. The corners and edges need to be scrapped, and all the chairs and tables need to be cleaned.
