We love taking our kids here, and it's also a great place to dine out with adults for dinner and cocktails. Our 7yo and 3yo often ask to go see the "robot cat" and eat their yummy udon noodles (which we love, as well). The robot cat is literally a robot with cat features that brings your plates/cups/water to your table upon arrival. The robot even talks a bit, and they can pat its head. SO FUN. If you need a high chair, I would just recommend sitting at one of the regular tables as opposed to a booth. That way the high chair can go on one open side of the table, or in place of a chair, and the robot can come up to the other open side. Sometimes the robot brings out food orders, too, or sometimes food is brought out by the owner or his parents (previous owners). The owner is super attentive and friendly if you have any questions. He recommended a cocktail (Johnny's Green Tea) and it was SO GOOD. And beautiful! His dad asked if our kids could have free ice cream, and helped us tell them they needed to first eat their meals. Our kids also love the chicken fried rice, as do I. All the sushi my husband and I have tried has been great and fresh. I've had a few of the entrees at dinnertime and they've been delicious, as well. We just love this place - Views are amazing, atmosphere is pleasant, family friendly (our kids also love setting the table with the plates the robot brings, haha), wonderful service (from both the humans and robot!), really good food and drinks... Thank you for being in Evergreen,...
Read moreIf you're a sushi lover, Sushi Win Jr is an absolute must-try! My family and I decided to get sushi Wednesday evening a few weeks prior and I thought I had posted it but I failed to do so. Anyways I couldn't do this restaurant justice if I didn't write this post.. From the seconded we stepped in the door and seated, the owner couldn't have been more attentive. We were greeted immediately and had beverages with in minutes.
The sushi? Out of this world. The fish is impeccably fresh, and you can tell the chefs are true artisans. They take classic sushi rolls and elevate them with inventive touches that surprise and delight your taste buds. The signature rolls are a must and Ryans twist on the use of fried salmon skin as chips and jalapeño tuna poke as a salsa was brilliant. I would have never tried this if Ryan hadn't gotten me too and I am so glad he opened me up to try new foods.
Service is attentive, and the staff genuinely seem passionate about sharing their love for sushi and Japanese cuisine. Whether you're a sushi newbie or a seasoned connoisseur, you'll find something to love here.
It’s the kind of place where every bite feels like a little celebration
—definitely my new favorite spot!
Thank you Sushi Win Jr for the great experience. Sorry for the delayed review, we will...
Read moreFirst off, I had an amazing experience here. We ordered two giant plates of sushi and let the owner Ryan take the wheel and hand select our meal. He got my taste profile spot on!!. This is the second time I’ve eaten here with my wife and it was so good I had to bring my best friend in as well this time. The atmosphere is amazing and the paintings are all hand painted by the owners dad. I had the opportunity to talk with the owner and his father and learned a crazy story that humbled me to my core!. My wife, friend and I had just gotten done with a hike right before we showed up and I was so full by the end of the meal we had to get some to go. The owner Ryan took an awesome photo for us to commemorate the experience, and I will definitely be putting sushi win down for future date spots. I cannot express enough the gratitude to how reasonable the menu is priced and the amount of sushi you get by far exceeds the price based on other restaurants I’ve been to. I seriously have left twice now with a container full of sushi that I couldn’t finish and could not be happier to have some snacks for...
