My wife and I ate there for breakfast. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and she ordered the Veggie Omelette. They both came with potatoes. We’re big fans potatoes for breakfast. However after we got our food we were both NOT fans of the potatoes. They were obviously frozen. The kind you get at Dennys, IHOP and other chain type places. The host was nice. Our server was nice but seemed like she was rushing to get our order. I had to asker twice for a refill and she never refilled my wifes drink or even offered. After we were done we paid our $48 +tip and decided we were not going back. Our breakfast costs $50+ with just our 2 plates a diet coke and a soda water. I dont know who reads these reviews but I think its shameful to charge the prices you have and serve your customers, who Im sure like us drove 30mins+ from Denver, FROZEN potatoes. My boyfriend and I were looking to enjoy our Sunday morning in the mountains for breakfast, after a google search I was really looking forward to trying parkside cafe after reading the great reviews. Upon arrival I noticed this was not demographically diverse establishment. There was a wait, my boyfriend who is Hispanic with tattoos including facial tattoos went inside to put our name down , they told him about 20mins. So we waited outside. After awhile we noticed other couples who arrived significantly later then us, be called to be seated. After seeing about the 3rd couple be called, we decided to leave.
