Leno's Rico Taco — Restaurant in Colton

I really hate to write a review of only 2 stars but I must. This place has changed over the years, for the worse. I'll start by saying I should of known better to eat here when it was empty at 5pm on Tuesday, taco Tuesday of all days, but I decided to go for it. We ordered 2 Carne asada tacos with no onions, a BRC burrito, fries, medium Pepsi and medium Sprite. First off they put onions on the tacos after I had said no onions but I scraped them off because I was hungry and didn't want to wait for tacos without onions. Second, the carne asada was bland, no flavor at all, dry chewy and like it was heated up in a microwave. The fries also tasted like they were made in a microwave. The BRC burrito was actually good and best tasting of all the food.

When we finished our sodas I went to get a refill and knew there would be a charge for it but what I didn't expect was there are no refills and instead you have to buy whole new drinks. $5.30 for 2 sodas instead of .50 cents or dollar refills. I told the lady kindly that it was ok and I would not be paying for new drinks. I understand inflation and everything and everyone is feeling the pinch but the refills or new drinks thing was the last straw for me, literally.

This place was good 10 years and more ago, which is about the last time I ate here but man, things sure...

I’ve been going to Leno’s for over 15 years and will never go back after the experience I had today.My order included a combination carne asada burrito, but the person taking my order appeared slow, confused with difficulty spelling and writing my order. He apparently wrote down a combination pork burrito. When I received my order I noticed the discrepancy and explained that my order was incorrect, but the employee I spoke to (Leno’s son) stated that he didn’t take the order and wasn’t able to give out, “free food”. I just want what I paid for but he proceeded to be rude and refused to make the situation right. Not good business. Very very rude staff, very unsafe environment. They were having a tour drive which you know good for whatever but if they were having that they need to close the drive-through because there were people and especially kids crossing through while there are people cars driving through the drive-through and the kids arent looking. The parents aren’t looking I witnessed almost 3 kids get hit and that was just when I was leaving. This is a very rundown establishment very rude customer service, the food is not even this good to be treated this unjustly. And the city should be made aware if they are going to be hosting events like this especially since that they’re near a large traffic area there’s people crossing the street not looking and almost getting hit a...
