Sushi is warm and not fresh at all. Service is horrible, we are sitting in here right now as I am writing this and it is not busy at all but it took us almost 20 minutes for someone to take our first order and then another 10-15 mins just to get part of our first round. The rolls are very bland and the only thing giving them flavor is the spicy mayo sauce. I have gone to much better ayce sushi places for the same price with better, fresher food and way better service. Also the ayce menu is pretty small compared to other places I have been for this price and they put a limit on what you can order so really its not ayce. UPDATE: leaving the restaurant now, this is the only thing me and my boyfriend have ate today and he is already in the bathroom with a upset stomach after eating here. I tried some of their shrimp and it’s actually bad like its rotten all you taste is a spoiled seafood chemically taste. The green muscles (which i was really looking forward to) were also horrible and for some reason covered in melted cheese. The eel still has tons on tiny bones in it, their “famous” chili oil has no flavor it only adds a little bit of heat to the food. I was too nervous to even try anything raw on its own after being served rotten shrimp (which is cooked!) honestly even giving this place 2 stars is being generous! I will not be wasting time or money coming here again. Save your money and go get good sushi because this place is not worth the competiting ayce prices around. Read moreThis is my usual go to spot for AYCE sushi however, it doesn't seem to hit the spot as it has in the past. And it's due to several areas.
When we arrived (just 2 of us) we had no greeting or acknowledgement from staff. Now I understand that when it's busy there seems to be situations in which it's difficult for staff to get to you right away but half the tables were empty. All the severe were over by the corner by the soda machine. I am not sure what they were doing but apparently wad more important than the costumers by the door.
We finally got seated. We weren't brought individual plates to get from the rolls. No ginger and wasabi brought or offered and when we finally did received it towards the end of our meal the soy sauce bottle was sticky.
The sushi rolls and salmon sushi. The presentation was great and it look super good however, the fish just had a bad taste. Not sure why, but it just wasn't tasting right. It definitely did not look old but it did taste bad. The oil and pickled onion on top was needed. If that wasn't bad enough the rice was undercooked. I thought it was just the first batch of sushi but out of all the sushi we got (about 7 rolls and salmon sushi) about 90 percent of what was ordered had undercooked rice. It was very disappointing.
At this point it feels like we need to look for a new sushi spot. Hopefully they can fix some of these issues because I really use to...
Read moreNever again.... floor dirty with bits of food, but proceeded to dine in anyways (giving the benefit of doubt, maybe a party with a kid just left who knows...) we sat at the bar, sushi chef was nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the sushi was horrible and fishy, my ebi (just fresh shrimp on rice) was not clean and had something on it (yuck). So, I asked for the check and notice they don't give me my itemized copy just card signature paper. I asked her for the itemized copy and notice they changed extra for what we didn't finish (dirty/fishy peices). I let her know, "I'm sorry but you're food is making us sick and we just could NOT force ourselves to continue can you please be understanding and just let us pay for the full dinner prices and beer but remove the extra fees please." With a straight face she says "No I can't I'll get in trouble.". I reply. "Okay, my I please speak with the manager or supervisor hopefully they can be understanding". She says " No he's on vacation." My reply, "Ookay, so no one here can help?" Her firm and unsympathetic reply "No". As a service industry manager, I was floored by the lack of customer service, customer relations and resolutions (or lack there of), the dirty atmosphere, not good sushi. Do yourself a favor.
