Dunkin' — Restaurant in Colts Neck Township

My son and I were out cutting our Christmas tree down. On our way home we were going past the Dunkin Dounuts in Colts Neck and I decided we needed some drinks after all the walking looking for that perfect tree! It was around 3:20PM that we stopped in. The store is bright and cheery and nicely decorated. The seasonal decorations added a extra homey feeling. This store also has a little area by the front door with a couch and chairs with a very nicely decorated Christmas tree. So we went to the counter to place our order. The boy seemed nice...he took our order, eveeyrhing done in a timely manner. I ordered a large hot chocolate, a large French vanilla coffee coolatta (sp) and decided to also get 10 munchkins. (5 jelly, 5 glazed) We paid, left the store and continued our way home. About ten minutes later I decided to have a munchkin. I have always loved the munchkins that are filled. I take a bite of the jelly and it was stale! It was like gross stale, I was extremely upset when I decided to try the glaze and that was also stale. We were already close to getting off of route18 and getting on route 36. Obviously this isn't about the money, the munchkins cost $1.99, this is about freshness. It was very upsetting because I wanted to treat my kids to a great snack after having a wonderful time picking out and then cutting down our Christmas tree. I don't go to DD often because I am getting divorced and finacialy just can't afford it, so this was a treat to have while we were having a special day. The other thing that has been bothering me for years is the lack of munchkin flavors. I remember when they first came out and all the available flavors. The Boston creme, sprinkles, apple filled , basically if you made a certain flavored donut, DD would also make munchkins. I live in Long Branch and we have a total of 3 DD. Whenever there is a school function you could almost guarantee that there would be several boxes of munchkins. Out of all those boxes and 3 stores and 1 in West Long Branch there were so many times that there was No filled munchkins. You could almost guarantee that you are going to get cinnamon, powder, glazed and chocolate glazed. No filled and no other kinds. So anyway, even though the store today was clean and service was quick, it was a disappointed day for me at DD. I bought munchkins that both myself and my son took a bite and we both ended up spitting them out because not only were they hard, and hard to swallow, they...

I went to this Dunkin Donuts around 7:30 am on 5/22. I placed an order and the cashier informed me that they were out of Caramel. I think it is surprising to run out of a component that early in the morning, but I don't mind. The part that really got to me was that since I had to read the menu to choose another item the lady behind the counter openly made fun of me, shook her head, and made snide comments to her co-workers in front of me about me not knowing what I wanted. I cannot believe the level of rudeness. This woman should not be serving the public. I have not had bad experiences here in the past, I even pass by it multiple times a day. This is the best DD store ever!! The staffs are so nice, and helpful. Donut is fresh= better taste

I have asked some question about the problem of my DD online card. They tried their best to help me even though I wasn't regular customer, and even though the issue wasn't related to them.

The food is fresh, the donuts are better, and fresher then other DD store in the area. My friends also say the same thing.
