Here we are in year #3. I didn't ask for money or free food or anything free. A quick synopsis, I was ignored on an app order when I arrived for p/u. I canceled the order before she touched a crumb of bread. Days later I was assured of a refund by the DM. Never issued. Many calls later, no action. After being a 4 to 5 subs purchased every couple of months I have now not purchased from them into my third year. If this is customer service maybe I should pay closer attention to the "closing down" rumors I hear from time to time. Their new subs may be excellent but it appears that I'll never know. Well, here we are a year later and still no response from Subway and no patronage from me. Be careful using their app. Once they have your money they apparently don't care about what you do or don't get. I guess they have to find some way to pay all the celebs in their new commercials. Grab a cup of coffee. 3 months ago I placed an order through the app for buy 2 get 1 free. I went in to p/u and waited for a customer ordering in person to finish. I was masked, per policy. The customer was wearing his mask around his Adam's apple and spent a good deal of time flirting. When they finished (past my p/u due time) she indicated my order had not been started. As I have emphysema and can ill afford a virus I just told her to cancel the order. After a month of being jerked around by the CSR, I contacted the DM and was told he would correct it that day. To date I have had nothing credited to my debit card and no refund received. I have not been back, will not be back and will actively dissuade anyone I can from patronizing this business. Update: 6 months now and nothing. I suggest you avoid using their app as the first thing it does is take your money and they don't mind keeping it even if they give you nothing! Read morePreviously my order was incorrect, to which I was given a gift card from the district manager. I decided because of that to give this restaurant another chance and my experience was actually worse than the previous visit. I ordered a footlong pro (double protein) cold cut combo and add bacon as well as a Baja steak, add creamy avacado, toasted and three cookies. The cold cut combo did NOT have double meat nor did it have bacon (both upcharges to my sandwich). The Baja Steak had NO creamy avacado and was NOT toasted. The cookies were correct because they packaged them while I was at counter.
I got there 2 minutes prior to my arrival time with the associate just standing at counter looking bored so I was happy to see my order was ready to go. When I got home, which is about a 14 minute drive, we unwrapped our sandwiches to discover the issues noted above. Will NOT be going back to this location as it is obvious the employees don't care about what they are doing.
All I expect is order accuracy, especially when someone is just standing around with nothing really going on. Having worked food service prior, there is no excuse for missing that many things on a 2 sandwich order when it clearly prints out on the screen and on the ticket, especially when the customer is paying extra for 3 of those 4 things. Same experiences it was two occasions both bad.. first one the lady got mad at me just for wanting to add extra ingredients on my sandwich an tried to call me in many words a slob an talk about customers that does the same so I'm return I said well customers paying good money for y'all service they should get whatever they want n don't want YOUR NOT EATING IT where's the manager,,, IM THE MANAGER lol like are you kidding me... Second time was during the day before I went to work stop there to get a sandwich and didn't even get a sandwich because too big girl employees (sorry jus call it how I seen it) I guess that worked there was in the lobby eating footlong sandwiches seen as if they on break what I thought,, an had the nerve to get an attitude when I nicely asked "can somebody take my order please" they turned around look at me funky and crazy an say "NOBODY WORKING RIGHT NOW WE CLOSED" went back to eating and laughin with other like as if I didn't exist ...
