The store overall isnāt bad. Iāll go over the positives firstā¦.and then the negativesā¦..
⢠The greeterās are amazing and all go above and beyond to make sure they say hello/goodbye/other pleasantries with every single person that walks in.
⢠Most of the people who run the self-checkout lines are great, some just average (not good/not bad either though), but one in particular is absolutely t e r r i b l e (Iāll go further into that in the negative points).
⢠The aisles, in general, are decently well-kept, easy to find items with their app.
Tbh, Iām sure Iām forgetting some good points, but I wrote this review for specific reasons and it wasnāt for the positive feedback unfortunately.

° As for the one particular woman who sometimes runs the self-checkout; (she is on the shorter side, long grey hair, older and heavyset), but she is i n c r e d i b l y rude and dismissive and just plain nasty in both attitude and just as an individual (sorry if that sounds rude but iāll explain why), i once went to the restroom, and she was pooping and when i was washing my hands, she came out of the stall, WITHOUT flushing, and walked straight out of the bathroom WITHOUT washing her hands (and yes, she did go back to the self checkout immediately afterwards). On a separate occasion, i was checking out and the machine did the āassistance neededā(or whatever it says) so i had to have her come over; well she was holding a tissue to her face and when she pulled the tissue away i could see she had been holding it to a bloody sore on her cheekā¦..she then placed that BLOODY tissue down onto where you scan the food (š©š¤¢); she then made a comment about her sore and she started PICKING at said sore with her fingernails AND THEN USED THAT SAME HAND TO TOUCH MY FOOD/ITEMS!!! I was incredibly disgusted to say the least, but since i was in a rush I didnāt immediately go to customer service or anything to report itā¦.i just sprayed everything down with disinfectant and hoped for the best. I havenāt seen her is a bit so hopefully she was let go. There is no excuse for keeping someone like that under your employment; this is a grocery store and she is a health risk at this point.
° The produce section is absolutely CRAWLING with bugs. Flies, gnats, and other bugs Iām not sure of all over the fruits, the potatoes (will often have rotten juices leaking out of the bags), the tomatoes (which always smell rotten), the onions, literally EVERYTHING. I would never buy my personal produce from here.
° Now for my MAIN reason in making a review: ANIMAL ABUSE - for over a week (I come here multiple times a day because I do DoorDash shop and deliver orders here at least 5 times a day every single day) there were countless Beta fish not only in filthy tiny containers of water, but a ridiculous amount of the beta fish were very obviously D E A D. I cannot understand how anyone, let alone a whole store/team of workers on multiple shifts can care so little for the quality of life of so many animals; fish or not, a living creature is a living creature. I had bought a LYFT gift card and it was faulty one, which I had the same problem with this before like 3 weeks ago and they fixed it for me no problem. So after I tell the GROCERY manager that works nights that the card was invalid and that I needed a return, he tells me to go to Lane 7 itās a older black lady at the register. That tells me she canāt do returns and that customer service is closed, I told her that this same situation happened before and that the other lady gave me a return. She gets a attitude after I told her the manager told me to go to her and told me to go back to the GROCERY āmanagerā I went back to him and told him what the cashier said and instead of him trying to actually help me out he just says āSorry! Customer service is closed and that nobody in the whole entire store could do a refund! So after I BEGGED him to actually try to help me out because I didnāt have a ride home or more money to spend on a brand new card. So after that he ātryāsā to do a refund for me but failed at it and told me that I was out of luck again. So I had to BEG him again to call one of the ppl above him or someone else he knows to teach him how to do a refund or get permission for me. He gets annoyed and finally does it and after all that the guy on the phone tells him thatās itās ok to do a refund for me. I personally think everyone in that store should be able to do refunds or managers should have the control to do it. This guy should of called his boss when he relized he didnāt know how to do a refund or nobody else in the store could do it.
