The Taco Bell on Clark Lane in Columbia Missouri is by far the worst place to eat in Columbia Missouri... The food is really and I mean really Nasty.. It's so bad...I took one bite and threw it away the tea smelled like urine...and I am not even exaggerating about this...I had to dump my large drink down my kitchen sink... Because the food is so consistently poor I no longer will go there I thought possibly it was on the shifts that I was getting my food...so I tried other times...with the same results inedible food... It tastes like it was made that morning like the burrito was made the tacos were made and then sat in a bag from 9 am to 8 pm literally... Now the person's that work the drive through window are always nice and kind with a smile usually...the window help is on point...it's the food it's so bad I mean wow if there was a " Worst Food experience in Columbia" award I would hands down give it to the Taco Bell on Clark Lane...I feel bad for the owners because that can kill a Business that can permanently shut the doors to a business when you have staff that are unappreciative and flat out don't care for the job...I don't know how that particular location stays in Business. If I were the owner I would probably do a relaunch...have a hiring event Only hire people that actually care .. Take pride in themselves and their work I would pay them accordingly Good help would get great pay from me I would not keep on staff people that hate their jobs and hate to work Hate their life... A business owner must consider what is best for the business and customers experience as a collective.... just because a person needs a job doesn't mean they get to keep that position They must carry themselves and perform their task in such a manner there would be no question as to weather or not they deserve their position and their High pay... Great employees make for a phenomenal dinning...
Read moreThis was my second try at getting some TBell in my system after trying to go to the one off of Nifong.
I was absolutely baffled why this location was struggling. Ask them. I couldn't tell you. I started off in the drive-thru and waited for about 10 or 15 minutes before getting to the order screen. The line wasn't moving, so I was greeted as if I was a new car after placing my order and waiting at the order screen for however long.
After a while, I noticed one car a few cars ahead of me pull out of the line. Maybe 5 or 10 more minutes go by, and the only reason the line moved is because that one car decided to leave. Then, another car pulls out of the line, and we all move up. I wait another 5 or 10 minutes, then I decide to pull out of the line.
I circled around and decided to go inside knowing these 3 cars including me that have pulled out were probably going to cause the workers further problems. So, when I get inside I tell them what happened. They didn't see or have a clue, which was surprising because most drive-thrus have a camera on the cars so they can keep track. But, no not this place.
I tell them what I ordered and that the 2 cars ahead of me left, so they didn't have to make their orders #56 and #57 I overheard them say. I was #58. Why do I still remember this?
I still have to wait for the 2 burritos I ordered. I noticed there are a couple of customers waiting inside for their orders too. One of the workers comments on how crazy it is like she didn't get it either. Looking at how messy the food prep area was could have been a reason. Wrappers on the floor, a big unopened box on a counter...
Hopefully, they got it together after that night. I eventually got my food, and it was all right. The low rating is from the 40...
Read moreI recently visited a Taco Bell that, unfortunately, fell far below the expectations I've come to associate with the brand. From the moment I stepped inside, it was evident that this location has seen better days. The overall ambiance was disheartening, with visible signs of neglect and disrepair tarnishing what could have been a vibrant dining space.
The staff, seemingly overwhelmed and far from the cheerful team members I've encountered at other locations, moved with a sense of resignation. It was clear their morale was as diminished as the establishment's facade. This lack of enthusiasm translated directly into the service and food preparation.
Speaking of the food, it was a disappointment. The meals, known for being quick, hot, and satisfying, were served lukewarm, undermining the essence of what makes fast food appealing. This not only detracted from the taste but also left me questioning the freshness and quality of the ingredients used.
This visit to Taco Bell was far from the enjoyable experience I anticipated. It was disheartening to witness a beloved establishment succumb to such a state of neglect, affecting both the staff's spirits and the food's quality. I hope this feedback reaches the management and that significant improvements are made to restore the restaurant to its former glory, for the sake of both the employees and...
