If I could give zero stars I would this place let us down immensely first off we reserved the party room on September 11th and the waitresses never came in the room except to sit down in the corner and play on their phones, when the rest of our party arrived the waitresses came over and rudely told us that we had to scoot over to the corner so that we could share the room we reserved with a whole other family which was upsetting but we cooperated because we were having a good time, the waitresses never removed our plates, or refilled drinks even though we had asked several times, so I took it upon myself to grab some extra red cups and go get the refills myself, and then the manager had the audacity to accuse us of being thieves and not paying for our food because we were filling our own drinks! she demanded to see receipts/proof for everyone, I politely told her that she was mistaken and the only reason I was filling the drinks is because her waitresses we’re not doing their job, and that what she to do was give us a discount since I had to do it for them! after seeing ALL receipts that we’d paid well over $300, she looked at us and said “OK thank you” and started to walk away I stopped her and said “excuse me don’t you think you owe us an apology for accusing us of being criminals and stealing your food?” She refused to apologize and it was the worst service I have ever been given! the place was a mess the carpet was so stained and disgusting that it was stiff and hard the food was lukewarm and the waitresses were running around playing and on their phones, it was disgusting in the place, the bathroom smelled like a farm, there was toilet paper and feces smeared on the wall, urine all over the place we couldn’t even use the bathroom at all while we were there, I was appalled at the service we received and the way we were treated by management! we spent so much money here this should’ve never happened and this place needs to redo themselves completely and hire new staff especially management because it all starts with management! it’s not the servers or the waitresses fault, if you fail as a manager your team fails, so all of this lies on poor management and...

Before covid, management kept the place in a respectable working order and took care of everything including constantly checking food temps and ensure buffet is kept supplied with fresh food . Back then, the Columbia MO Golden Corral was great place to eat and usually packed with people. Now there appears to be much fewer people eating there, even during busy times of the day. I ate here about 6 months ago and thought I would not come back here to eat cause things were bad. I then decided to give the place another chance recently, to give them opportunity to redeem themselves in my opinion. However, it was no better. Chicken, fish and other foods I got was luke warm to cold. Some foods appeared to be dried out looking and old as if they been sitting out a while. Times I've been there, service was slow to keep some buffet trays filled with fresh hot food. When they brought out new food they took the old cold food that's been sitting in the old tray for a while and place back on top of the new food. The ice cream machine is dirty looking with dried ice cream on it and once it was so dirty and gummed up from not being cleaned in a while that it barely dispensed ice cream and even the ice cream was bad looking, which I did not eat any. Not to mention the desert bar only has like 1/4 of the deserts available than it used to have. Little to choose from the desert bar anymore that's worthwhile. Several plates and silverware were noticeably dirty looking with food still stuck on them and while there, I heard other people complain of this and foods not being hot. We stopped to eat at Golden Corral because it is one of our favorite places to eat. I didn't get a receipt so I can do a review to their website and tell them just how horrible we were treated. We went and sat down at a table. No one ever came and gave us straws so I had to go find them. 2 other groups came in and sat down. 3 waitresses went to their tables numerous times and introduced theirselves. Walked over at least 6 times asking them if they needed refills or anything. To say they were being a racist is an understatement. We were the only caucasian people sitting back there and all 3 of the waitresses were African American. The groups that came in after us were African Americans as well. One person spoke to me and that is only because I saw her walking from another section and I called her over. Her name was Miranda. We paid $45 to get treated like we were not there and not get to really eat anything. Half the food was gone. I was told it would take 10 minutes to cook fish that had been empty for at least 30 minutes before hand. My husband wanted steak but it was roast cut up to look like steak.
