I visited the CAVA located in Gervais St. in the Vista. I ordered a bowl and a drink. What does that include according to the menu? A bowl, a free pita as a side, and a drink. I don't believe I got what I paid for. For one, by the time my bowl was complete, it filled the bowl about halfway. Okay, that's not too bad. However, the girl that prepared my food forget to include my free side (pita). Then she was in such a rush to be idle that she almost forgot my drink as well (it was not busy at all and I went there around 7:40pm, about 2 hours before closing). To top it all off, the attitude of the girl who prepared my food was what I would like to describe as "meh". When I arrived to collect my order just prior to closing, I discovered that a key ingredient was missing. I contacted customer service, and they processed a refund for my total of $18.72.
When I placed a new order two days later, the total cost was notably lower, amounting to approximately $11, as I did not include certain extras. However, instead of refunding the new total, the company deducted the full amount of $18.36 from my account. I subsequently reached out to management again regarding this matter and provided the necessary receipts; however, I have yet to receive a response.
