If part of what gets you going in the morning is experiencing rude service and dodging a bizarrely aggressive owner/manager, then this is the place for you. My experience along this line has been amazing outside of there usual day to day low quality and unfriendly interactions with the staff.
I went to use the bathroom one day, finding the door open but occupied by the tall unkempt owner of Immaculate. I apologized and waited for him to finish before going about my business. Seated back at my table, he approached me with - I wish I was joking - a knife in one hand. He asked me, loudly, to go back in the bathroom and clean up the mess in there. I didn't recall any mess so I asked him what he was talking about. He leaned over me, aggressively and told me, "You left the roll of toilet paper unraveled" and demanded I go clean it up, scolding me to never do that again in front of patrons and staff.
Feeling embarrassed enough for both of us this point, I go to the bathroom to see what was amiss. The toilet paper roll was dangling, not yet reaching the floor, I take the 2 seconds to roll it back up.
Staff are rude and its not hard to see why with this psychopath as their...
Read moreIf you're looking for the perfect cup of coffee and a side of existential crisis, this is the place for you. The barista here can make a latte that will change your life, but also remind you that you haven't really figured out your life yet. I ordered a cappuccino and somehow it felt like I was sipping pure ambition, with a dash of “what am I doing with my life?”
The ambiance? Picture a cozy living room where the furniture has probably seen things. The decor screams “IKEA, but make it vintage,” and the music? Oh, the music. It’s a playlist curated by someone who knows the deep cuts, but also doesn't mind if you accidentally play air guitar to them.
The coffee? It’ll give you the energy to take on the world, or at least check your email with mild enthusiasm. The pastries are so good, I almost considered proposing to the croissant. It’s the kind of place where you’ll feel like a local, even if you’re just there for the Wi-Fi and the inevitable “How do you do, fellow kids?” interaction with the barista.
Highly recommend if you need caffeine, comfort, and an overwhelming sense of "I should be doing more...
Read moreI’m not local and it’s my first time at the coffee shop. What I love: *They made home made syrups for coffee, so if you are like me, who doesn’t like artificial syrups you’ll love their homemade syrups *Good coffee Pleasant atmosphere *Super friendly and helpful girl at the register What I don’t like: My table had trash from previous visitors and when an employee brought me my food, he just grabbed the food baskets but he left?dirty mags and napkins and he never came back to clean it completely. So I ended up to seating and then partially cleaned table My croissant beef sandwich was ok. Next time would definitely try something else. Also no one asked me what side I would like and they just brought me chips. However ,I saw on the menu that they have different sides. *Bathroom door lover was broke, so no way to use bathroom
I still give five stars because overall it’s a very decent coffe shop and I know it’s not easy to run a small business like this! By the amount of people visiting it I can say it’s a very popular place. As they say :There is always...
