I called ahead since it was a Friday night to get put on the waiting list and was told it would be 45 minutes. We arrived with a group of 5 around 20 minutes later and was told it would be "10-15" minutes. I realize that is usually an underestimation. After waiting around 40 minutes I went over to ask about our table since several people that had come in after us were already getting seated. The person I was assuming was the manager said, "your after one more person" and turned away. So I went back to the group and they called some other places to see what the wait there would be. After 5-10 more minutes I walked up and asked another employee and was told "we have to put two tables together so it might be a little longer". I asked if we could sit at the long bar table in front that seats 10 since it had been sitting empty for over 10 minutes. Then I got a "Oh, well if you want to sit there you can." So my total wait was well over 1 hour. We were seated and the server was VERY GOOD. However, the manager never came over and apologized for the extremely long wait or even checked on us. Mind you during our inside wait, there were 5 groups of 5 or more seated but for some reason, they had to "put two tables together" for us. I feel that for a bill of over $110 dollars we could of gotten a table a lot sooner or an apology for the extremely long wait. I am sure my money will be taken somewhere else, much more quickly, and with some appreciation. I did leave a nice tip for the server since she did a good job. What a shame that I will not be eating at a Red Lobster anytime...
Read moreMy lady and I had dinner at this Red Lobster last night. (02-26-20) we were there from about 9pm to 10pm. When I say everything about our visit was perfect I must explain. We ordered an ice tea and a margarita. Drinks came fast as always. We ordered an appetizer when our drinks came. (Lobster spinach dip) from there on out every thing showed up like clock work. At the moment we finished our appetizer our salads showed. At the moment our salads were finished our meals arrived. We both had the ultimate feast. Both were perfect. Our drinks stayed full and we were brought extra napkins without asking. While we are we noticed something. The entire crew of the restaurant worked together like a symphony. They wiped every serving tray down. They wiped down every menu. They swept under all the tables and they went crazy cleaning every detail of the place. A lot of these things I have constantly seen neglected at other places. I was impressed beyond imagination. Before leaving I asked for the manager. I shook his hand and told him how impressed I was. After all it's not often you see a restaurant run at 100% perfection. Anytime I want to take any friends or family out to a truly nice dinner, this is where I will be...
Read moreWe had avoided the old Red Lobster Restaurant like the plague. It was dirty, loud and the only seasoning they seemed to be familiar with was salt...lots and lots of salt no matter what the dish was. It was my husbands birthday and he loves trout, a fish that is hard to find in most restaurants so we went to the new RL. Glad we did. The service was excellent. A few comments though about the food. Lobster Bisque was very good but just warm when served. The "filet" of trout did have bones but was delicious. The Caesar salads were very good, but unless the dressing has anchovies and garlic you really should not call it a Caesar because you use Romaine lettuce. I had a Crab Linguine which was good but needed a little more crab. With this said, we will go back and looking forward to bringing friends. Only one more comment. I don't know who told them to put slippery tiles on the floor but even the sure footed will have a hard time not...
