The store had recently went a remodel and moved the intercom, which I was unaware of, so I passed it up. I attempted to back up however there was a car that had pulled up behind me not leaving enough space to back up to the intercom where they could hear or register that my car was there. I decided I would just order from the window. I pulled around and after a few seconds beeped my horn so that she knew I was there. The barista came to the window puzzled and said yes. I explained that I had passed the intercom up, as I was unaware that they had moved it. I passed it up and couldn't back up far enough for them to register that the car was there so I just figured I would order from the window. The Barista says, "Well, you will need to go around the building and get in the back of the line, because there are cars in front of you. " I explained, "I know there are cars in front of me, because I was in front of all of them. I was the first in line, but I passed the intercom up accidently." She continued you will need to go to the end of the line. After explaining how ridiculous that was, she left the window and the I presume manager came to the window. The manager came and said, "We can get your order today, but in the future you will have to go to the back of the line...Without even asking me what happened. I explained to her as I had the Barista that I accidently passed the intercom due to the remodel, as I hadn't been to that location in a while. The manager continued to tell me in the future I would need to get to the back of the line, but then says, yes we did have a remodel, and can get your order this time, but in the future you will need to go to the end of the line. I stopped her and said, What you needed to do was simply say, "You're right, we did have a remodel, I'm sorry that happened to you. Let me get your order since your here at the window, however in the future if you don't mind can you come into the store and grab your order, so that it dosen't throw the orders off. The manager looked at me as if I was talking a foreign language....As if to say where do they offer service like that? Sadly, I suppose this is where we are today in terms of customer service, particularly at this Starbucks. I know you all can do better, because the other Starbucks, particularly on Rangeline and the West side rocks it every time...Wonderful personalities and service in each store. After I left the drive through I went straight to the East Starbucks and that is where I got my meal/coffee and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have visited this location several times in the past with adequate service, usually during the day on my way to work. I did a mobile order tonight for some hot chocolate. I walked into the location around 6:50pm, the store closes at 8:30. There were 2 young ladies behind the counter, one was mopping, the other toasting something. I hadnāt been in for a while and they changed the location of the drink pick ups. I noticed they were talking to each other on their headsets, glancing at me occasionally but not speaking to me. I waited patiently for about 2 minutes for them to greet me/acknowledge me, they did not. Eventually I noticed the drink stand and saw my two hot chocolates. I walked over to the counter and they stopped talking and looked at me, not saying a word. I took my drinks and left, again, silence. I am not sure what was going on, but I felt very uncomfortable in this location. Usually someone says at least āhelloā, but they acted like I was an alien or something. We were the only people in the store, and I was looking right at them. I hate to think it would have something to do with the fact that I am a person of color, but thatās certainly what it felt like. Disappointing if so, I literally visit this store all the time. Thinking I might take my business to the local coffee spots from now on anyway, support small business, no prejudice plus...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure what's going on with this location lately, but it's gone downhill. It's never consistent. Sometimes my drink is right. But most of the time it tastes like they didn't even put the syrup in my latte. Sometimes they won't even bother to put the right toppings for my drink. When you're spending over $7 for a latte it should be right most times. I understand people make mistakes, but this is just rushing and not caring because it's almost every time. It's just the employees not being consistent with how they make the drink. And to top it off, I keep having to ask for a sleeve the past 3 times I've gone. Is starbucks not wanting to put sleeves on their hot coffees anymore? You have to request the sleeve every time? And when I go they usually only have 3 or 4 people in the drive thru, so it's not like they are super busy and that would be more understandable. I'm to the point where I just want to buy my own espresso machine and stop spending my money for a drink...
