As of March 2018, this Starbucks inside Kroger is closed most of the time. Most of the Kroger employees who were trained as baristas to work here got pissed and said they no longer wanted to work at the Starbucks because they were getting chewed out by angry customers. There is never enough help to keep this Starbucks running proper. It has been poorly managed by both the guy Kroger put in charge as the manager and the Kroger management itself because they should have seen to it that employees were not only cross trained properly, but also that they had a decent person to manage it. The guy they had in charge has boasted the past month he was leaving Kroger's employment to go work at a "real" Starbucks in Franklin. He came right out and said he didn't care and didn't have time to fool with this location anymore even though he was still employed. Wow some work ethic, I hope the Franklin Starbucks knows what kind of worker they're getting. But on the other hand, all the BS at this location is the fault of the Kroger management and when you go in there and the Starbucks is vacant with a closed sign during regular hours you should march right to customer service and complain and contact corporate. Read moreI had a $5 virtual gift card so I downloaded the Starbucks app in order to use the gift card and place my order in advance and it was ready for me whenever I pulled up to the drive-thru. It was painless, and super simple. I picked what I wanted and everything was made exactly like I requested. This particular Starbucks location is on top of things in every way. They are very polite and always cheerful. I'm not a huge Starbucks Drinker because it's rather on the pricey side but it's definitely worth the extra price because of the quality of the service and the products. Update: I recently went here again with my husband and two sons and everything was just as enjoyable this time as it was the last time. We used the app to order this time and got absolutely epic drinks that were so tasty! We were exceptionally thrilled that they made everything exactly the way we ordered it because every drink that we ordered was super customized.
