Very impressed with this takeout hibachi. I used to enjoy the one down the street and was sad to see it go, but this was even better today. Online order was easy, ready and waiting when I got there. Spicy teriyaki was excellent, and used dark meat which I always prefer. It was enough kick to make my nose run a little but I didn't have to drink after bites. Vegetables were crisp although not a lot of flavor. Fried rice was a $1 up charge which I don't care for but at least it was good. The size large was pricey but it lived up to its name, I really should have made it two meals. I'll return soon Update: Returned and tried the orange chicken with white rice. It was perfectly acceptable, but nothing I'd care to order again. White rice was over-moist and undersalted, I'd pay the upcharge for fried next time. Orange chicken was deep-fried nuggets in a lightly orange-flavored sauce, basically a mild citrusy version of Tso sauce. It's fine, if thats what you like. Meanwhile, I'll come back for teriyaki.

We came on one of the first couple days Teriyaki Madness was open, and we are now huge fans. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome right away. The spicy teriyaki chicken and orange chicken are each tasty, and I’m looking forward to trying a spicy orange chicken in a future visit. Brown rice (often dry or bland at other restaurants) was cooked perfectly and provided a soft, flavorful contrast to the orange chicken. Yakisoba noodles covered with spicy teriyaki chicken was equally good. These folks know how to make food! The teriyaki sauce is truly something special — sweet and savory perfectly balanced. We look forward to more teriyaki meals from this spot in future!

I really like this vibe of the place. It feels like a place you would find in a bigger city like charlotte. The food was very good and service was great. It took about 10 mins to get my food ready and I think that because they cooked it fresh. When I got my food everything seems like it had just come off the grill. I got the spicy teriyaki chicken bowl and the crab Rangoon. Both tasted very good but the crab rangoons were the best I’ve ever had. Prices were pretty decent. The bowl is about $9-$15 and the Rangoon were about $4-$8 I think. You also get a good amount of food, I was full before I finished my bowl. I’ll definitely be back

I really wanted to like this place as it’s convenient and nearby. However I had a few issues with my first experience. I ordered a fried rice steak bowl with veggies combo with a chicken egg roll and fountain drink.

Upon getting a fountain drink I went through 3 options before finding something that wasn’t out of syrup. The restaurant was not busy at all.

2.The ā€œsteakā€ if I should even call it that had the consistency and look of rehydrated beef jerky. Extremely thin style slices with a chewy texture and no flavor other than the overly sweet sauce it was covered in.

The rice oh god the rice, I cannot describe how bad it was. I specifically got fried rice looking forward to some standard chinese takeout fried rice. Instead what I got was a massive lump of steamed rice that not only had never seen a wok or frying pan it was also extremely overcooked and mushy. In addition to this it was drenched in soy sauce with a few egg bits and veggies stirred in. This is not fried rice.

4.The veggie mix was ok but the distribution was pretty bad I got mostly soggy cabbage and only one piece of broccoli (getting all broccoli is an up charge)

My egg roll was decent and My friend who was with me at the time got the standard teriyaki chicken and it was pretty good. The portion sizes are great but all in all I cannot recommend this place as large portion sizes do not make up for the quality...

Saw the great reviews and really wanted to give this place a try. As for the overall vibe- it’s pretty much just a healthier version of Tokyo grill. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies, pot stickers, side of noodles and egg roll- it was all pretty mid. The chicken was by far the best part, very juicy and flavorful (you can tell it’s good quality chicken with not a bunch of weird bits). The rice was super mushy though- definitely going to pay extra to get fried rice next time. In general, the teriyaki bowl wasn’t good because of the mushy rice and flavorless veggies. The egg roll and pot stickers were nothing special at all, comparable to Panda Express/ Tokyo grill and really just had the flavor of old grease. The side of noodles were tasteless. Came with no veggies or anything inside, just plain noodles with no sauce. Overall- I spent $30 for a meal with some sides and while I did finish everything, I do not think I would rave about this place. Would still go here over Tokyo grill because of how good the chicken was. Hopefully getting the teriyaki bowl with fried rice and extra sauce will do the trick. Excited to come back to try the...
