Ange's Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

I ate a delicious lunch on 3-18-2023 at Ange's Pizza Karl Road at 5767 Karl Rd. in the "Forest Park" neighborhood of Columbus.

I had been attending a meeting that morning at the Karl Rd. Branch Library and had decided to eat at a new-to-me restaurant before returning home for the rest of the day.

After having confirmed that Ange's Pizza Karl Road indeed allows "dining in" [the dining room had been completely empty when I had arrived], I ordered my food at the ordering counter and then waited in that empty dining room for my food to arrive.

My food choice had been an Italian Sub ["salami, capicola ham, ham, pepperoni, provolone cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing"].

My meal had been delicious, the staff had been friendly and helpful. I had been in and out of there in less than half an hour.

I later learned that there is an Ange's Pizza in Clintonville where I plan to eat in the near future.

I have ordered large orders from here for my work many times and when I called to place an order with 15 large pizzas and 2 large salad trays, the manager was very rude. I was put on hold for a manager to ring up the remainder of the order and the manager came on the phone without introducing herself as a manager just saying "hello" as if she didn't know why I was on hold and was bothered that she was on the phone and so I told her I was on hold because the person was getting a manager to ring me up for ur salads and she was very short and just abruptly said "no" with no explanation. I said, "no salads?" because I was confused by the weird rudeness from her. She said "no, our salad just comes in a small box". So I mentioned that we have gotten them many times in the past (being very polite the whole time and also confused) and wondered if they had anything else in place of them and she was rude and just said, "no". Angie pizza at the Karl Road location has gone completely downhill. We used to order all the time! We won’t be ordering anymore after today. They messed up the order and not only messed up the ingredients did not cook as I indicated. There’s a place you can tap on how well done you want your crust…l requested burnt on the 2 pizzas and subs. They all came regular. Then we reside 5 mins from them and everything comes hot well this was room temperature. Then 45 min delivery came to be 90 mins. UPDATE: I just spoke with a Jesse on the phone. He did not care that my order was not right and said I ordered it wrong and kept on arguing with me then started laughing about it. I asked how I can speak to the owner said he is never there. Told him he did not care about his customers. Told me he would give me credit for the next order.
