Bada Bean Bada Booze — Restaurant in Columbus

Bada Bean is one of my favorite spots to work—cozy, welcoming, and conveniently located right next to my gym. The vibe is great for getting things done, and I genuinely enjoy coming here.

That said, I think it’s time for the shop to set clearer boundaries when it comes to pets. In recent visits, I’ve noticed more and more non-service animals being brought inside. While I love animals, it’s important to remember that this is a space where food and drinks are being sold and consumed. The lack of distinction between service animals and pets creates discomfort, especially for those of us who come to enjoy a clean, focused environment.

Gone are the days when responsible pet owners would leave their dogs at home or quickly tie them up outside while running in. I believe Bada Bean can set a respectful standard that keeps the café enjoyable and sanitary for everyone. I’ll continue to support the shop, but I do hope this becomes part of the conversation...

Bada is no doubt my favorite recent addition to Italian Village, if not all of Columbus! The bar is our favorite spot to grab drinks, both weekdays and weekends. It’s a perfect casual, low-key energy, but there’s always something going on, and the cocktails are equivalent to what you’d find at your go-to high-end cocktail bar or restaurant. The bartenders here are the best, especially our favorites, Eli & Nate. We continue to come here in large part because of those two — they always have the best energy, make the BEST drinks, and feel like friends. Bada is definitely better because of those two, and we can’t recommend...

I stumbled upon this place about a month ago now after searching on Google “espresso martinis near me”. I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance when I arrived.

I typically go in the day time between the hours of noon and 3. During this time, you’ll find many students studying or reading a book. There are bakery items, coffee, and morning cocktails served until 4pm, then the bar opens at 4 with Happy Hour from then until 7pm (50% off cocktails = $5-$7 really good cocktails).
