⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | First Visit — Surprised in the Best Way
I’ll be honest — Bonefish Grill was never on my radar. It gave off “boat-shoes date night” energy. Seemed fine, just not for me.
Then a friend mentioned the Monday martini special, and we decided to check it out. No expectations. No hype. And that actually made it better.
We sat at the bar with Zack — and if you’re lucky enough to land him, you’re in good hands. Friendly, attentive, and gave real feedback on the menu without trying to upsell. The kind of bartender who listens, answers your questions, and knows the food.
🍞 Complimentary Bread & Herbed Oil We didn’t expect much, but wow — warm slices with a bowl of seasoned herb oil. The bread was sturdy but soft, and the oil? Way more flavorful than the standard olive oil pour. It felt like they actually cared about the start of the meal.
🍸 Monday $5 Martinis — Yes, It’s Real Served all day Monday (until 9 PM). We tried a few: • Crushed Pineapple Martini: Smooth, refreshing, and not too sweet. • Heatwave: Tequila with jalapeño, citrus, and a tajín rim — just the right balance of tang and spice. • Pomegranate & Lychee Martinis: Floral, light, and a touch sweet. Great for a second round.
🍤 Bang Bang Shrimp Leans heavily on the mayo-based sauce visually, but the shrimp were hot, seasoned, and still had great flavor. Not super crisp, but still satisfying — especially with a little salt and pepper.
🦪 Mussels Josephine (My Order) This dish deserves its praise. The broth wasn’t a tomato-heavy sauce — it was garlic-forward with wine, butter, herbs, and fresh tomatoes that added real depth. The mussels were clean, tender, and flavorful. Even the tiny shellfish fork felt intentional.
My dining partner had never tried mussels before and gave them an instant thumbs up — said they were like a cross between shrimp and lobster in the best way.
✅ Would I Go Back? Absolutely. Great service, flavorful food, hot plates, and prices that felt reasonable. Nothing felt forced or overdone — just solid execution and attention to detail.
Pro tip: Ask for Zack at the bar if you go on a Monday.

Let Jess Tell It — Bonefish changed my mind....
Read moreFood was delicious I had filet mignon it melted in your mouth incredible. My friend said it is one of the best steaks he has ever had. His wife had the salmon which she enjoyed. I had sweet potatoes and mac and cheese with bacon for my sides perfect choices .They say the bang bang shrimp is just outstanding! I don't eat seafood so going on their say. The service was good. The server was a bit chatty but clearly young only 18 and trying to earn tips so I can appreciate that. Honestly I'd rather have chatty server over a rude or unattentive one. The macadamia nut brownie was very rich. Between 3 of us we couldn't finish it. Our server said it was gluten free not sure about that as we didn't look for such just ordered by his recommendations. The restaurant was clean and nice decorating. The smell was rather fishy so that is why I gave 4 stars.again I don't like seafood so when you smell like you are at a seafood counter it isn't inviting. They also commented it smelled fishy. We had reservations amd no wait just arrived and was seated how great that was. The women's restroom was freezing cold and had odd smell like cat pee so again not inviting. The bread was very fresh soft and served with a seasoned oil...
Read moreIn celebration of our 52 anniversary we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Bonefish recently. Because it was a Monday evening it was not busy. But that did not affect the service or food. My husband ordered the grilled rainbow trout with pan Asian sauce, fries and coleslaw. I ordered grilled chicken breast with lemon caper sauce, jasmine rice, and seasonal vegetable which was broccoli. The fries and trout were excellent. Neither of us cared for his coleslaw. Just different without the creamy sauce common to this area. My chicken was tender and very tasty. The broccoli was not overcooked but the rice was a bit bland. A bread course was included; rare these days. The herbal olive oil was delicious with the crusty fresh bread. While awaiting our dinners, my husband enjoyed a seasonal Sam Adams draught and I savored a glass of delicious house cabaret. Bonefish treated us to a free dessert. We chose the brownie with raspberry sauce and ice cream and enjoyed every bite.
We would be very remiss in not giving mention to our waiter, Issac. He was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and very professional. We will request himwhen we...
