Smoothie King — Restaurant in Columbus

I have been to many different smoothie kings local and beyond and this one has to be the WORST location I have been to. I have visited this location 3 different times (giving them the benefit of the doubt after the first and even second time) and have finally decided I will never come back to this location again.

Each time I went in the trash can where you throw away your straw wrappers was disgustingly overflowing. The floor was sticky and there was a feeling of uncleanliness. The staff were making and drinking smoothies for themselves while we waited for ours to be made. Highly unproffesional if you ask me and rude. The third and final straw was these employees were sitting on the counters they prepare the smoothies. UNSANITARY! Not sure who "manages" this location but they need to get this place together before it ends up closing. I will be sure to tell all of my friends about this poorly run smoothie king.

I love Smoothie King! A few of us from work order from here two or three times a week. The service here is usually pretty fast and friendly. However, some of us have received less than friendly service from Lucas S. This particular time I had an order of six smoothies I asked that he write the type of smoothies on the lid as they usually do with large orders. When he handed me my order three of the cups were missing the labels, one I could figure out because it was darker than the others. I politely asked Lucas S. if he knew what the other two smoothies were so that I could label them. He took the cup but labeled it with the wrong name. I mentioned that I already had that particular smoothie and it had to be either the Angel Food or Mangosteen Madness. This time he literally snatched the cup from my hand labeled it (again with the wrong name) mumbled the word B** slammed and locked the window. Needless to say, I was very upset and I will not be returning to the particular...

Originally gave this location 4 stars but since last fall their quality seems to have drastically dropped. I typically get the Chocolate Peanut Power Plus, and the last 5 - 6 times I've ordered it from this location it has not been blended well. It has been grainy from the protein powder or too viscous to even use a straw until melted. My friend ordered a Pineapple Recharge and it was a peach color and didn't taste right. I've ordered this a few times at other locations and it was always a vibrant yellow. Today I got another Choc. Peanut Power Plus, and it is grainy again, in additoin there are chunks of ice in it. I ordered one at the Gahanna / Morse Rd location last night, and it was made with none of these issues.

I used to really like this location but it seems like something has changed in the quality over the past few months and it's very disappointing as this is the location right next to my place...
