Being a customer from the first opening of the Eastbrook Plaza location I was disappointed on my recent visit there on Dec 23rd . My overall reaction was that the staff were not happy to be working. I do not recall seeing a smile on anyone’s face and they talked with each other more than the customers. The assistant did come over to inform me that my order was waiting, however the barista had made two drinks for my order and when asked which was which she could not recall and had to remake the order. Unfortunately not as I originally requested. The food was equally doomed. My original order a Green goddess biscuit came without an egg. All the times we've gone though napkins and silverware have been out - so might need to look at another system to put enough supplies out or focus on restocking. Same for trash cans. Also had someone take my food once because the food doesn't have a name system like the cups 😣
Also have not had the opportunity to sit outside yet - chairs are always dewey in the morning and it's not sunny enough to dry the chairs. Read moreI go to the north end coffee shop several times a week. It’s an old bank renovated to a coffee shop and it’s awesome. Staff know my name and order. They are always friendly and engage in conversation. They also have a play area for kids to hang out and burn off some of the delicious treats. The baked goods are phenomenal.
