POOR Customer Service. After trying 2 different pillows in the store, I decided to purchase one. Sales person processed the transaction then handed to me the pillow and a pillow protector. After getting home, I opened the packaging to discover a completely different pillow. Thus, I returned to the store. The same sales person told me they were actually out of stock and the pillow I purchased was actually out of stock. Thus, I requested a refund. This is when the adventure became more strange. The sales person said she could not do a refund since the pillow is considered OUT OF STOCK & ON BACKORDER. However, the sales person could sell to me a pillow that was out of stock although she provided to me the wrong pillow. This did not make sense. After arguing about this for a few minutes, the sales person simply said she couldn't do anything due to their computer system showing the pillow as out of stock. Fast forward to today, I called the store to discuss with the manager who then told me that she would process the refund & I should get a receipt in about 15 minutes sent to my email. One hour later, refund receipt did not appear in my inbox. Thus, called the store again to discuss with the manager. The manager couldn't make her explanation about a refund any more confusing. Still, no refund receipt as promised. Shop elsewhere! Not impressed. Finally, I decided to call Sleep Number Customer Service where they could clearly see that the store Manager and Employee was wrong for not refunding to me the total amount. Customer Service Could see that the total amount was actually charged to my credit card so they refunded the amount. Store Manager originally tried to say the transaction was voided so there would not be a charge on my card. Store Manager was blatantly wrong. Again, shop elsewhere (including other Sleep Number Stores who know what they are doing) for your Sleeping needs. ...
