Went in yesterday for the first time. Ordered 1 lb sweets of 2 different kinds. It was posted at $7.99 per lb. Didn't care to check the bill that time. When I looked up at home I saw she charged me 2 lb per sweet instead of 1lb. I double checked the lb at home and it was 1lb each sweet. I called them up asking how much was the sweet ( kalakand and guzia) and she said 7.99 lb and then I asked why she charged me double...she recognized me quickly on the phone and paused for a few minutes.....I kept saying hello and then she came back on the phone saying oh $7.99 was for half lb so it's $15.....like really?? Who posts half lb price huh? Even if it was 1/2 then look at the bill (Attached) why is she putting 2 beside it then. Such a cheater and unfortunately it's the owner who's doing that so you really can't do anything. So guys please ask the price first before ordering and check the bill right there before paying. They are ridiculously expensive. See the price for 4 puffs and 4 samosas too. Never ever going to this place again. Had she said it was a mistake I would have forgiven but no she made sure to speak white lies after telling the price herself. Cheating your own people won't take you long before your business shuts down. Terrible and shameful of you guys. Forgot to add:- puffs had a terrible stale meat smell and everything else...
Read moreSampled their Mandi Biryani last night, and unfortunately, it was subpar. The rice was undercooked, excessively salty, and too dry for my taste. Having enjoyed a delightful Juicy Mutton Mandi in another city, my expectations were high, but this experience fell short. Hoping for improvement as they move forward.
For those unfamiliar, Mandi traces its origins to Yemen, presenting a traditional culinary delight of meat and rice harmonized with a unique medley of spices known as Hawaij. This blend typically comprises Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, Green Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Black peppercorns, and Turmeric. In adherence to tradition, Mandi is prepared in an underground pit. The meat is simmered with whole spices until it reaches a tender perfection, and the spiced broth is utilized to cook Basmati rice at the base of the Tandoor. Here's where the magic happens— the meat is suspended within the Tandoor above the rice. As the meat exudes its succulent juices, they gracefully infuse the rice below, while the charcoal imparts a delightful smokiness to both the meat and the rice. It's a culinary experience that marries tradition and taste in every...

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Dadu Restaurant was so unbelievably bad that I feel compelled to warn others. From start to finish, it was a disaster.
Service: Horrendous. We waited nearly 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order, and the staff seemed completely uninterested and untrained. No greeting, no smile – just attitude. It felt like we were inconveniencing them by showing up.
Food: If I could give zero stars, I would. The food was cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. What was supposed to be a flavorful traditional dish tasted like it came out of a microwave. The meat was chewy and dry, the vegetables soggy, and the spices practically nonexistent. I’ve had better food at a gas station.
To top it all off, the place wasn’t even clean. Sticky tables, dirty utensils, and a weird smell in the air. I left feeling nauseous and ripped off.
Avoid this place at all costs. Dadu Restaurant is a complete disappointment. Spend your money somewhere that actually values its customers and serves...
