I can’t do this post without drooling and smiling like a fool. This was the best breakfast we have ever eaten! The bacon had the perfect amount of crispiness and had this great slightly smoked flavor! HUGE, flavorful pancakes with that perfect slight crisp on the edges! Yall…the scrambled eggs with cheese?! They were INCREDIBLE! Who knew eggs could be so fantastic? You could tell it was definitely real egg and they were cooked just the way my Nanny used to make them! My hubby had the French toast meal and that was incredible too. IMPORTANT You MUST order the croissant sandwich! It wasn’t on the menu but I had read about it in reviews, so I knew to ask for it. We had sausage patty, egg and cheese on it. The sandwich had some kind of honey butter sauce. Omg it was just so fabulous! Yall! My husband and I were literally making yum noises the whole time!!
That’s just the food so far. I haven’t even began to talk about the friendly, welcoming, and attentive service we received! We were greeted instantly when we walked in by who appeared to be the owner. He walked out menus to us and directed us to the front counter. The man who took our order was also super friendly and personable. The food came out quickly and they checked on us the perfect amount of times as we ate.
The atmosphere felt like one of those “down home” restaurants where everyone knows everyone. We just loved it. From entrance to exit we loved it! We can’t wait to...
Read moreI visited Dell’s two days in a row with my son and had the same exact order both times: blue velvet pancakes and eggs for him, and the French toast meal for me. The first day, we had two regular drinks and I added a $5 caramel cake. The total came up to around $40, which already seemed high based on the menu prices.
The second day, we ordered the same food but no drinks and no dessert, and still got charged the same amount—even though we clearly ordered less.
On top of that, we both asked for no cheese in our eggs, and they still put cheese in both orders. I even confirmed it before they made the food. It also seemed like they tried to upcharge us for an extra egg that’s already supposed to be included in the French toast meal.
I wanted to support a local business, but the lack of transparency and careless service made me feel taken advantage of. I hope the staff starts double-checking orders and providing receipts or price breakdowns because right now, it feels like customers are being overcharged...
Read moreTried this place for the first time the other day. Been seeing lots of good reviews, decided I'd try it for myself. Told the gentleman at the front that same thing, his reply was, "eh, it'll getcha there". Well, I have to say, that's about how I felt about it. Definitely wasn't terrible, but wasn't anything that made me feel like I need to come back soon, and try something else. Not bad, but not memorable. Girlfriend had the special, the chicken and potato salad were good, but nothing that stands out from anyone else in town, rice was a little dead by the point we had it. I had the fish and shrimp, I should've asked what kind of fish, I had assumed catfish, my fault, it was tilapia, my least favorite, filets were pretty small and it was lacking in crispness and flavor, shrimp were just frozen, but it got us there. The place was really clean and nice, everyone was friendly and service was great, food was just a little underwhelming. It won't stop us from visiting again, but nothing I'm in a hurry...
