I was surprised how bad this was. I got the vegan octodog which is vegan mac and cheese and a hotdog which I paid extra to upgrade the hotdog. The whole thing was a mistake. The hotdog was rock hard like I couldn’t even cut it with a fork. Also there was some watery sauce that didn’t even stick to the noodles and just tasted watery. Great food, disappointing service.

The restaurant was nearly empty with only two tables occupied, yet we received very poor service. No one came to take our order, we had to walk up to the server to request it. There was no follow-up or check-in to see if we needed anything else throughout the meal.

The only reason I’m giving this 1 star is for the food, it was absolutely delicious. I’d consider coming back for the food alone, but the service really needs...

Recommend their Wednesday special, just $6 for dinner. The food is great and fresh! I especially loved their Hell is Real special hot dog. Friendly service! They have a pretty faithful Chicago hot dog, but it felt like something was missing, ratios not quite right plus it also had too much relish for the balance. So, as a Chicagoan I'd say...
