If I could give negative stars, I would. This apartment building is a masterclass in corporate greed and negligence. From day one, it’s been a nightmare. The units are overpriced shoeboxes, and the so-called “luxury” amenities are either constantly broken or so poorly maintained that using them feels like a health hazard.
Recently, they changed management companies, and it’s somehow gotten even worse. The new team is even more disorganized and unresponsive, if that’s possible. The only nice guy is Jiordyn, the receptionist. He’s the only one who’s ever been genuinely helpful and kind.
The trash room overflows constantly, creating a stench that spreads throughout the building. It’s not uncommon to see rats around the property, making the already poor living conditions even worse.
Their lease agreements are a trap. I only needed an apartment for six months, and I was even willing to look for a sublease, but they have hidden fees buried in the lease contract, which is poorly written and deliberately vague. If you don’t plan to stay here for a full year, don’t even consider it—you’ll be charged fees for every possible excuse they can find.
The management? Predatory and borderline criminal. Fees appear out of nowhere: utility bills that fluctuate like the stock market, arbitrary damage charges with no proof, and "administrative fees" that seem designed solely to pad their bottom line. Their customer service strategy is to gaslight tenants into thinking it’s their fault.
For international students, minorities, or really anyone expecting basic respect: stay away. I’ve witnessed blatant mistreatment and discriminatory practices that border on the illegal. And forget transparency—contracts are riddled with hidden clauses and ambiguous language designed to trap you into paying more than you bargained for.
In short, the only thing this place offers is stress, frustration, and regret. Save yourself the trouble and find...
Read moreI have lived here for 2 years and regret coming back. The communication among the staff is poor, so if you have a recurring issue, expect to explain it to several different people a few times. They will enter your apartment without informing you (though they will send you an email after the fact). Just recently, they changed all of the locks with NO notice to the current residents. When I got home and could not get into my apartment, I went to the office and waited for at least 30 minutes to get my key. While I was there, I asked if I could get my roommate's key as well, but they refused and said they would put her key in the mailbox. I received a call from her while I was out and about that there was no key in the mailbox and she was there with her parents and all of her stuff trying to move in. I was happy to drive to the apartment to meet her, but they should have put the key in the mailbox like they said they were going to. Overall, the communication between the staff here is terrible. When the office is supposed to be open, there may not be someone present, as they leave before hours are over. They will also enter your apartment without any warning. However, the staff has always been friendly even when I have been incredibly frustrated. Way too expensive for the service...
Read moreGot moved here for the 16-17 school year when the university dorms were overbooked, right when it opened. It looks nice, but most of the materials are very low quality and feel cheap. We had to call in numerous times to have parts of the apartment fixed, even though it was brand new.
The overall design is also pretty poor. Vents in the room covered our stuff in dust daily, and the doors into the apartments slam hard enough that neighbors' doors can be heard, and felt, opening and closing at all hours. Safety wise, there is only one completely closed off, windowless, room in the entire building, which isn't great if bad weather hits and people need to seek shelter.
Also, when I was there, packages just got dropped in front of the building and were liable to be stolen since the office staff left at 5 and packages would sometimes be delivered later than that.
Basically, you're paying for location, and the luxury of having a washer/dryer in your apartment, but...
