Today, as usual, i went to Tim Horton's during my lunch time to get lunch and coffee. Upon my arrival at the drive through i forgot to place the order at the intercom and thus proceeded straight to the window. The lady at the window told me that she can't take my order at the window and that i need to go back to the line again. I told her politely, that i m running out of time and requested that she do it for me this time. I reminded them that i have been a costumer to this Tim Horton's since its inception. She insisted, however, another lady standing next to her tried to help and asked me what would you like to order sir. While i was placing the order, a gentleman, who claimed to be the manager of the restaurant, all of sudden approached the window and yelled at me and said "we can't take your order at the window" and aggressively instructed me to leave the window so they can serve other consumers. I felt disrespected and humiliated. I asked the gentleman that i need to talk to his boss and i need your name. He gave me his name [ Dario Hogan] and and his cellphone instead of his boss's number. when i tried to call his boss i ended up calling him, the guy who harassed me at the restaurant. This is not the first time i had an incident with Tim Horton's and i believe the higher-ups of the restaurant are unaware of the wrongdoings of their employees. Tim Horton's cooperate must investigate and do the necessary actions to insure such incidents does not...
Read morethis used to be my main spot for coffee and breakfast on the pretty common day i'm running too late to have breakfast at home. the staff was always friendly and i always got my food in a timely manner. however, some of the newer staff are, frankly, a bit incompetent. i understand that in the morning especially it can get pretty busy and it can be stressful, but there is a point where it's like "come on now." a young man took my order, and i got my food pretty fast, but was left waiting on my coffee. people who came in and ordered after me were getting their drinks, so i politely let the woman running the register at that moment know that i was waiting on my drink, and her response was "well, i didn't take your order." like...okay?? i work in food service myself, and it doesn't matter if you didn't take the order yourself, you still have to make it?!?! she did make my coffee, but i received it cold. and it wasn't like she accidentally gave me iced coffee or cold brew, that would have been fine and i wouldn't have complained about that, but no, it was straight up just room temperature coffee. and she knew it was, because the cup was cold, so she didn't even bother putting a sleeve on it, but decided to still give it to me anyway. not to mention this same woman takes forever to take even simple orders and like, she seems like a nice woman and all, but it's all unnecessarily...
Read moreWent there today. I go to a different tim hortons every morning and I order a large iced coffee and add a double shot of espresso. The offer to add a shot of espresso for 99cents or a double shot for $1.59ish. I had a coworker with me and ordered 2 at this location. The obviously charged each one with a double shot but rang up both at 99 cents, so a $1.98 instead of 1.59. Not a big deal of about 80cents for 2. I politely told them their mistake as I have encountered so many times because most people don’t add a double shot to their iced coffee. They lady asked her manager and she was rude beyond belief. I believe it was her manager. It was a lady with blonde hair. Either way I paid what they asked for and moved on. They want to know why people will pay a little extra and go to Starbucks. I used to refuse to go to Starbucks, but Tim Hortons has been raising their prices to that of Starbucks, but they hire employees that do not offer the same service as Starbucks. I can go to Starbucks and tell them to add a non-fat, no whip, almond milk, light whip, slightly shaken, half pump whatever, double pump this or that, and even tell them the temperature...lol and not get a complaint but here I tell them their error and I am the bad guy.
BTW. Get on the cold brew bandwagon or get...
