Dollar Tree — Local services in Columbus

Hi, I just wanted to share something that happened today that really upset me.

I went out earlier with my friend and our sons we find some ball we let them play with just they hold the balls . I was going to buy a ball for my son, but I noticed that it was damaged — like someone had already removed a part of it. Since I wasn’t planning to shop for anything else, I was just waiting for my friend.

Then, a woman at the register suddenly raised her voice ,saying that we should pay for the broken ball — and that it was either my son or my friend’s who did it. She was really rude.

First of all, she had no right to raise her voice, especially in front of small children — mine are only 1 and 2 years old. Second, she had absolutely no proof that it was our kids who damaged the ball. And third, even if they did it, kids sometimes break things — it happens. I’ve been to very fancy stores before, and once I accidentally broke a bottle of glass . The staff came to check if I was okay, and they didn’t even mention the bottle .

But for a $1.25 toy, this woman treated us so poorly. I’ll never go back to that place again. That’s not the kind of environment I want to bring my...

The 'Dollar' Tree is now the $1.25 Tree since the price of everything has gone up by $.25 This is definitely an inexpensive store to purchase lower priced items. Some of the items are of lesser quality and some of the items are brand name but you are purchasing a smaller quantity. I purchase gift wrap, gift bags, cards and bows from here. They look nice and it saves me quite a bit from what I would pay in another store. I also pick up decorations from here when we have a potluck at work. Finally, I am a teacher and I use their plastic baskets in my classroom. Some of the items in the store make great...

I really used to like this store. It's located in a nice location, it usually has a good selection and well it's a Dollar Tree. Lately this location is the worst of the worst! I stopped by today to pick up a couple items and it was awful! The only checkout line was wrapped around the store and around the back wall. No store Mgr in site, no other employees just the single employee working the register. There was a broken glass bottle of something I assume from the smell was buffalo sauce on the floor in the middle of the line of people. No sign, no attempted clean...
