I had already made a review and it seems it was deleted which is even more disappointing than the experience itself. I will post a review everyday if it gets deleted. Very poor experience, host jonas was rude acted like judas we basically set up our own table fir a large party after choosing to sit outside. We arrived with 8 ppl out of a party if 17. Jonas refused to seat us at the table that was set and made us wait 20 minutes for one additional person. Mind you we still sat at other tables outside to wait. We just could not sit at our table. He was just rude all together. We had 2 servers one side went pretty smooth the others wait to get food was ridiculous. The other half still had food coming in to go boxes while we were trying to check out . And to add to the poor experience at Houlihans last night. After about 40 minutes of waiting for our cards to come back my cousin asks what’s taking so long. They said it was because they had to check us all out and our server gave her all the cards. They split the table. Since when is ok to alter a receipt?! I mean we can all do math but where do they do that at?! And most importantly WHY was it done?! Of course when we asked for reprints the system was down. I’ve never had a bad experience but yesterday was bad enough to make me NEVER want to go back to that location again. Like EVER literally from the host seating us, to the check out just poor. Including our interaction with the manager Josh. He did apologize and blamed it on firing a manager and being tired. Read moreNO CONCERN FOR COVID-19!!!! Deeply concerned about the poor customer service at the Houlihans located inside the Doubletree Hotel in Columbus, Ga. I was completely ignored when I entered the restaurant and stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged and/or seated. When the waitress finally stopped to speak and I informed her they I wished to sit outside on the patio due to COVID, she stated that I probably wouldn’t get service out there for a very long time. She stated they the bartender was the other server and she was busy with her customers at the bar. I asked her what did she suggest, and she stated I should sit inside. I then spoke with the bartender who asserted that the waitress would serve me outside if I wanted to go out there. She stated that she doesn’t go out there. Less than a minute later, I overheard the bartender and waitress having a heated discussion about who would serve me outside. Both of their tones sounded HARSH and UNPROFESSIONAL in regards to providing me service outside. I then went outside hoping someone would come out to take my order. NO ONE CAME. I went back inside and asked the bartender to speak with the manager and was told that he was running around somewhere, but she at that point made NO effort to assist me. Because I waited and insisted, the bartender finally alerted the manager who came out and PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE NOR AN APOLOGY. He offered me a drink and stated I could sit outside and wait. Read moreCame here because we were guest at the double tree and diamond members of Hilton (which is another disappointing post). Now I usually do not leave any reviews but feel as though I need to with this one. First our waiter was spacey and barely even attended or checked on us the whole time we were here. He often came back smelling of smoke. Then once we received our food we ordered as follows: App: spinach dip- extremely garlic but fairly decent was edible Entrees: stuffed chicke breast that comes with the potatoes and one side (green beans). I received 12 small green beans, the chicken was beyond delicious and nicely breaded, the mashed potatoes were so salty they were inedible and I come from a salt eating family. 12 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and fried steak well done (hoping the cook knew how to fix it and not ruin it making it leathery) steak had no flavor and was rubber, mashed potatoes were less salty then my chicken dish (???), fries were well fries.
I brought all of this up with the manager and pointed out the highlights with the inedible food only to be offered something else in place of potatoes but nothing with steak because we ordered well done. I traded potatoes for fruit. My fruit came out with bits of unidentifiable food in it!!! Cracker, cookie, breading, seasoning, who knows all I know is it wasn’t sugar or anything typically put on fruit. After all of this and reporting to manager with sending 40-50% of back to the kitchen with no replacement still had to pay the full bill!!!!! $75 for inedible food and subpar (being kind) service.
