I have a love hate relationship with this McDonald’s. The staff that I’ve dealt with I really enjoy but I’m questioning management. Reason being is too much is being mixed up or forgotten and then it causes the customer to have to come back or sit and wait for something that they should’ve already had a long time ago. My whole families food is sitting here getting cold because they couldn’t make sure it was done properly and now I’m waiting 18 mins on what should’ve been handled when I came thru the first time. And trust me when I say this is a review 4 year in the making lol..ever since I moved over here this McDonalds is hit or miss. And then when your upset management looks at you like the audacity for you being upset. Ha. Back when they still had go gurt in happy meals I had ordered 6 happy meals and they was missing the go gurt and toys in all and the manager offered me a dollar pie as a sorry you had to waste more time and gas. It’s a joke fr and I didn’t want to write this but it’s ridiculous. There’s so much more I could say but I’m not because maybe one day they’ll get it together. But I mean..go thru the other reviews and you’ll see what I’m saying..the last 4 years I’ve been coming here bc it’s closer and atleast I gave them 3 stars lol
Adding on that the manager I spoke to after waiting atleast 25 mins when they said 18 on these pies..yes, waiting for 2 pies. But he was nice..he seems like he’s fairly new to management with McDonalds because he was kind but he was shocked the pies were not given to me..only for him to find out they were still in the oven. He told them to pause the oven and retrieve my pies. I’m not picky..I’ll take it. The rest of my families food is getting cold so I really just need to go anyway. Plus my daughter who has Autism was over waiting too. But anywho..you know how you get a pie that’s fresh it can burn like a mug when the cream or fruit hits your finger? Yea..I stuck my finger into it because it just looked half done and I was holding a pie that just came out of the oven with no issue. So for extra measure bc that’s me..I’m extra. I stuck my youngest thru the entire center of the cream. Now we all know this means that those pies were only in the oven for a little bit of the full 18 minutes. Are the workers not listening or are they overloaded and need help? Like what’s going on? McDonalds in general needs to do better with their employees..treat them better!! It shows that they aren’t being treated right. I was right..it’s management but it’s upper management. When the workers are happy to be there it’ll show. But manager guy I talked to tonight was just trying to help fix the mess he walked in to because apparently he just got there not long before my 2nd visit. He was nice and the workers are. So now we can all see where the issue really...
Read moreNever thought I would ever give any McDs just 1 star, but after 45minutes in drive-thru line because "the system was down" and when I finally got to the window to pick up my food - no one was there! I waited 6 minutes before a young man came to the window and said "May I help you?" I said " I am waiting for my order" , he then looked up at the screen and repeated my order to me. I told him that was correct. He left the window and turned back around, opened the window and asked me to pull up to the next window. I did, and waited another 9 minutes watching people in my rearview mirror pull up to the 1st window - get their food and drinks, and I waited. Finally another, very nice, young man came to the window and said they didnt have any apple pies baked, did I mind substituting a strawberry & creme pie.. I told him that was fine. I waited. He finally came back to the window, held out a bag and said "Here you go". No drink. I asked him if I could get my drink. He got it for me. I 'pleasantly' said " thank- you" , he said "you're welcome". As I pulled away I reached for a french fry, put it in my mouth.....a cold fry from McDonald's! I can understand "system" problems and training a new person at the cash register window, but, I can't understand not getting a " Sorry for your wait" or a "thank-you" ! Management is just as responsible for this lack of courtesy as the employees. I have to add that there is another 'burger restaurant right down the street that I have always gotten a "Thank-you" from. Dave Thomas would be proud! Sorry for the lonngg msg. I hope that McDs mgmt will get the msg. I won't be going back for...
Read moreThe white girl didn't get her name unfortunately that works there got an attitude with my mother after she asked for a cup carrier my mom asked once and was not acknowledged that the girl heard(like the girl didn't say anything or a make a noise to let my mom know that she heard her) so my mom proceeded to ask again with no attitude or nothing but she said with a rude tone "I heard you" so my mom looked and saw another worker looking at her who was just standing there so my mom just simply said "doesn't she work here" and again with another attitude the white girl said "oh she's new" that was not an excuse she didn't have to reply to my mother with an attitude I'm seriously questioning management. I even witnessed one of the managers I think that Hispanic lady wipe her nose using the palm of her hand and then went to the fries to continue working. I also just got outta surgery and I was severely hungry since I haven't had any food in about 10 plus hours and I didn't feel like getting into an argument with her. She was just rude and could have handled my mom simply asking for a cup carrier better. Most of the time when we walk in most of the workers on break which is understandable but they're constantly asking their co-workers to make them food and the others are just standing in the back doing nothing. On top of that our drink was wrong one of them but it wasn't really that serious but still I didn't want to go and interact with her just to get into a fight. Like I love McDonald's but most of those workers aren't good especially her not too sound like a Karen but I will be like informing the manager...
