We dined at Meet Pot with a group of 6 for my wife's birthday. It was a mixed group of vegetarians, pescatarians, and omnivores, but everyone gets their own pot so dietary restrictions weren't an issue.
The service was great and I was blown away by the variety of things on the menu. There were a ton of items for all palettes and preferences. My favorites were the fish cakes, quail eggs, king mushrooms, taro root, and seaweed knots. Friends who were having meat were very fond of the beef tongue. They definitely don't rush you or try to limit the amount of food you're getting -- if anything, we were encouraged to stay longer and try more things -- so it really is all-you-can-eat.
A friend had a bubble tea and said that was good as well.
The restaurant was spotless and the atmosphere and decor was modern, fun, and cool. (I was impressed by some convincing illusory flames over the tables.)
For birthdays: if it's within 3 days of the birthday (they check ID) and you're there with a group, the birthday-person eats free. A robot also brings you a cake and sings for you.
Would 100% dine here again for celebratory occasions.
Photos attached don't really do it justice, because we all got so into eating that we forgot to take more pictures.
Some other minor comments: Some of the soup-bases weren't as flavorful as they could've been, though there's a sauces-and-seasonings bar so you can add garlic, chili oil, etc. if you want Water is served in a large disposable cup, but I try to be very waste-conscious so I would've preferred just a glass The robot is underutilized; it seems like tables could be set up with an iPad, letting you order things as needed and it could deliver If I could add anything to the menu, it would be more mushrooms such as oyster...
Read moreAlthough we mentioned the number of people when making the reservation, we were split into three separate tables.
All three tables ordered hot pot bases at the same time, but after the first table ordered their ingredients, it took 20 minutes for someone to placed order for my table and the third table. It took 40 minutes from the time my table placed its order to the arrival of the first dish, while the third table had yet to receive any food. Meanwhile, the first table had already finished eating and was waiting to pay.
For my table and the third table, the food we ordered was consistently incomplete no matter how many times we ordered, leaving us to share the small amount of food we had or resort to eating only fruits and desserts.
We can understand that the waiter said that some items will take a little longer. So we informed the staff about other missing dishes and requested that they bring whatever was ready as soon as possible otherwise the food we received was not enough for my table because the third table was barely received the food. However, the staff told us that our table didn’t have enough food because we had shared it with the third table.
Even though we were split into three tables, and some people had already finished eating and left while we just started eating , we were still required to pay an 18% service charge because our original reservation...

I'm on a quest to eat a whole lot of hotpot, so that's what I came in for. It was a delicious experience, with a lovely environment and a nice modern decor scheme.
Meat portions were generous-- lamb and pork belly was delicious. Fish roe balls exploded with savory salty flavor. Tripe was bouncy, fish cakes were dense, and the selection was plentiful even when just limited to the lunch itens. My partner enjoyed the spicy soup, and I got pork bone. We ate a wide variety of tasty things and finished off with a round of noodles. We left very full and satisfied for $25 a person (after tip)
Sauce bar was generous with options and homemade sauces, the fruit was handcut, there was kimchi, seaweed and crab and cucumber salad which was awesome (I love a good cucumber salad) and there was free ice cream and lil cake slices too. Great dessert and side dish options.
Also, the staff were super duper attentive! Very polite, generous with soup refills, stopped by often to ask if we wanted to order more. Dishes were cleared quickly, and everything was so...
