I ordered two pizzas online using one of their promotions (large specialty pizza and large 2 topping pizza for $29.99) - one being the chicken tikka pizza (arrabiata pizza sauce, marinated chicken in tikka sauce, red onions, garlic, and jalapenos) and the other was buffalo sauce pizza with jalapenos and grilled chicken. When we went into the restaurant, the person working asked if we wanted buffalo sauce on both pizzas, which I responded no. It was no big deal though, mistakes happen so we left with both pizzas having buffalo sauce. However, when we got home and opened the pizzas, both orders were completely wrong and both pizzas were identical. Each pizza had buffalo sauce, jalapenos, regular grilled chicken, red onions, and banana peppers. The only part of our order that was correct was the side salad. Although the order was completely incorrect, the pizza was good (I'm sure it would have been better if it was the actual order...). I hate writing poor reviews as I never want to hurt a business but completely messing up 2 pizzas while the place was not busy is distasteful.
UPDATE OF MY REVIEW (1 star to 3 stars)
Luna pizza did reach out to me quickly about how they were able to make this right, which I very much appreciate. There was a new staff member who was training and made the pizza incorrectly (totally okay, we have all been there). They offered to give me a complimentary pizza, but unfortunately, I do not live in Ohio. They very quickly got back to my response until I asked for a refund instead. They said they would look into getting me a refund on 9/2/25. They did not get back to me at all, so I emailed them 9/18/25 to follow up on this. On 9/22/25, they got back to me and said they could do a Zelle refund of my order, which I was very appreciative of. I sent them my Zelle information the same day that they emailed me about the refund. I did not receive a refund and no further communication, so I emailed them again on 10/05/2025 to follow up. They then gave me the refund on 10/07/2025. Overall, it took over a month from them looking into a refund to receiving the actual refund due to their lack of communication. Overall, I am very appreciative that they were willing to refund me but am frustrated as it took me following up multiple times for this to happen. In my opinion, I believe that if I did not continue to follow up, I never would have gotten my refund. The pizza was good but make sure that it is correct before you leave the store so you do not run into an...
Read moreOh boy not sure where to start with this one... Good thing I'm from Arizona.. I mean, Ohio do better, there's a reason the rest of the country made you a meme.
Came in on memorial Day, and was told the Monday-Thursday specials don't apply... If holidays are exempt, put that on your menu.
You think that's the worst of my problems, pull up a chair kiddys, uncle Larrys about to trauma dump, cause this place gave me trauma, and I'm probably gonna take a nasty dump later.
We ordered 12 "jumbo" bone in wings. Jumbo my ass, these were average at best. Decent crisp, but not at all anything great. We ordered mild, and it was a mild amount of flavor (buffalo? Garlic? Hot sauce? Who knows! Lol) with a massive amount of oil. It's like bad coke, you can't cut my sauce and tell me it's premium, uncle Larry knows when he's got bad sauce.
They brought out 50% of the wings first. Had a weird flavor. Not quite garlic, not quite funky chicken, 100% not buffalo sauce. Just not right, and just not good. Then they brought out 6 more AFTER we made it through our pizza (stay tuned for that) and they tasted different than the first 6. Weird I know, but they were just as oily, just as gross, and like my stamina in the sack, disappointing.
Pizza time! It was meh. Could tell it was probably a premade crust. Thin and crispy, and the flavor of the greasy pepperoni carried it. It was like eating a dominos box with pepperoni on it. For a second I thought I was sick, cause I couldn't really taste anything, then I bit into a wing... (See review above) I'm no pizza snob, but my oven and chef Mike (short for microwave) have whipped me up some better frozen pizzas for 8$.
Over all, not sure how this place has such good reviews. I'm glad I fly home tomorrow so I have close to 0% chance of ever having to suffer this place again.
DO NOT EAT HERE! ITS NOT GOOD!!! go buy a frozen pizza and wings from...
Read moreI recently tried a combo of their specialty pizza, Stromboli, and chicken wings, and everything hit the mark.
Pizza We ordered the Super Moon Pizza, loaded with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and black olives. The crust was crisp on the outside and chewy inside—classic New York-style but with a little extra heft. The sauce had a tangy, slightly sweet flavor, and they definitely didn’t skimp on cheese or toppings. Each bite had a perfect balance of ingredients—definitely one of the better pies in Columbus.
Stromboli Next up, the Cheesy Stromboli with pepperoni and sausage. It was baked golden brown with just the right crunch on the outside and melty, savory goodness on the inside. What stood out was the seasoning on the crust—garlic butter with a hint of Italian herbs. It was hearty without being greasy, and the portion was generous enough to share (if you want to... I didn’t).
Chicken Wings The wings? Legit. We tried the spicy garlic and mango habanero sauces. They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sauces were rich and flavorful without being overwhelming. The mango habanero had a nice kick balanced by sweetness, while the spicy garlic was bold and savory. Easily rivaling national wing chains—but fresher.
Overall If you're thinking about a pizza night and want a little of everything, Luna delivers—literally and figuratively. Everything tasted made-to-order and had that local gem quality. The pizza, Stromboli, and wings combo is perfect for a weekend feast or game day.
