QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Columbus

I recently moved to and remodeled a house in New Albany. All of my wife's local family wanted an opportunity to see the place and enjoy a family meal together. We agreed to a date and didn't think it would be a big deal when it was scheduled several months ago. We didn't realize the family meal was going to turn into my MIL'S 70th birthday celebration. However, unpacking took more effort than expected and I wasn't going to have time to organize, clean and make a meal. I decided for the first time in my life to get a meal catered. It had been determined most of the family was a fan of tacos so I ordered a hot meal to be catered for the birthday party. I ordered enough food for 15 guests and 8 kids. The driver arrived about 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time, did the whole setup, and was pleasant to be around while I was busy with final preparations. The food was delicious. Everyone had plenty to eat and we had lots of leftovers. I not only recommend for large gatherings and parties but I will definitely use this option for catering in the future. first and last time I visit this crappy restaurant, I had a terrible experience, I went to order takeout it was around 5:25pm on July 24th, I had two free food coupons, between placing my order and getting to the checkout time and handing over my coupons and they took them when I was about to leave at the exit door a person yells at me, turns around and starts asking me who gave me these coupons that they couldn't take them. I asked him who you are and he says to me the manager. I told him why can't they take them if they already took them, he told me that I had to pay for them because if the person who gave me the coupons doesn't work at that location I couldn't use them. He wanted all the information on the person who gave them to me, and of course I refused, only for two coupons that are valid because I went to Polaris and they took them from me ... I felt so humiliated ... because he treated me so badly With such disdain that he followed me out of the restaurant as if he were stealing something from me... he made me go back and pay him... My family and I come to Qdoba in New Albany once a week and love it as our special / eat out meal for the week . It’s always delicious and fresh. They have wonderful service and great employees who are always cheerful and kind to us . Anyway one Friday night we were sick and placed an online order because we couldn’t come in person, unfortunately that order did get a little messed up . As soon as I realized there was an issue I called the store and spoke with Zack and he told me they would correct our issue. We went in for our replacement meal and the employees literally bent over backwards for us including the manager Ian who was on duty that night . They took time out and spoke to us and just made us feel like they cared and valued us as customers. They went above and beyond and I left there feeling a bit emotional because it’s hard to find a place that actually cares anymore like they did and it made me feel really good. I am a very satisfied customer, I will be returning, and I am so glad that I decided to come to qdoba and leave behind a similar restaurant that does not value the quality of food or their customers.
