This has to be the WORST Chipotle in America at this point! EVERY SINGLE TIME I order here the order is messed up, comepletely wrong or missing something! If I could I would give this location -50 stars I would! Tonight I ordered online and arrived to pick up my order and it was 15 mins past the scheduled ready time. There was maybe 5 customers in there the entire time and it wasnt busy at all. Then I pick up my order which had my name on the bag. I get back home and the bowl I ordered had someone else's name on it and a completely different order. This is what I deal with every single time I come here! The "manager" (Zane) said that corporate chipotle wont even let them put on the app when a food ingredient is out at the location and they will get in trouble for it if they try to put on the app they are out of something. I seriously feel like staging a protest at this location it's so bad. Corporate needs to come in and fix this place asap. I live right around the corner from this location and have lived and worked in this area since 2018 and it has continually failed at all aspects of the restaurant business. After 2021, I don't know what happened but it's become so horrible now. They are always out of items (different meats, guac, queso, chips etc) and if you do an online order and then come to pick up the order, they tell you when you get there they are out of everything that you just ordered and won't refund and you have to call customer service and many times they give the run around on trying to get a refund. The portion sizes are atrocious (even when ordering double portions) and the chips are many times extremely salty and soggy or they don't 3ven have them. The food is always cold and tastes like it's been sitting out all day. They are going to get someone very sick and get sued but I seriously think the workers don't even care. Also the place is gross and unclean and they are always out of napkins and utensils at the drink fountain station. Finally, none of the employees wear their name badges so it's like they won't be held accountable for anything they do wrong. Their service is horrible and they are rude and so non attentive as they obviously don't care about anything they do at this location at all. CHIPOTLE PLEASE FIX THIS...
Read moreEdited: Simply put, much much better than before, and as earned, I've changed my rating to 4 stars for now. Still hesitant to give 5.
Do not go here. I will give more information below, but this is all you need to see. Now go order food from somewhere else.
I honestly don't know how this location is still even open. I keep giving them chance after chance, hoping things are better, but they aren't. And to some degree that's on me. So I won't be going back for a very long time now.
The last 4-5 to five times I've been here over the last 6 months, there has hardly been any single thing right. Part of me wants to go on a tyrade, but I'm also exhausted from having waited for an hour (past my pickup time) for my mobile order, so I'll keep this brief.
They're quite often mobile orders only. Why? No idea. But I'm actually glad they are. Because it's that much more infuriating when you wait 30 minutes plus for a mobile order, when you could have just gone through the line three times over.
And to some degree, their mobile system is to blame. Don't tell me I can expect my order at 7:30 when there is no chance in Hell that that is happening. The system should be dynamic, taking into account an order queue, and not just based on your order time. But the staff is somewhat to blame as my orders have also been slightly wrong almost everytime. This time, my salad didn't have dressing.
Lastly, you can't cancel your mobile order, and to get any refund you have to go to some stupid webpage. So you're pretty much stuck waiting for you food, considering the giant hassle they've made it to get any resolution (more of a corporate issue).
If you absolutely want Chipotle, take a road trip to California. It will take about the same amount of time, but at least this way you'll see some cool sights...
Read moreI live right around the corner from this Chipotle branch and eat there fairly often. I always find myself asking "why do I keep coming here?" The service is terrible, just a bunch of teenage New Albany yuppies who don't know the meaning of hard work. I can safely say that 1 out of 3 times I go there they always have a huge line, and this is not because it's the lunch or dinner rush. It's because a handful of people are waiting for something that is basically a necessity for a chipotle burrito....like rice.
Just recently I went in to get my usual and as I walked into the building I saw that every customer, thirteen to be exact, are sitting at tables and standing around because they all had to wait on the chicken to be cooked. Luckily for me I get steak on my burrito, so I got to ditch all these poor people, order my burrito and go, but before I left I needed to fill up my drink. When I pressed the Coke button at the soda machine, I got a cup full of just clear carbonated water. These kids can't even take the time or effort to prepare their food for a rush, or keep their soda machines in proper working, and do you think they care....no. The district manager needs to do something about this and quick.
PS Their portions are terrible. This is probably because they don't feel like continuously making the ingredients for orders, so they ration each persons order, but still charge you the same price. And if you want what would be the standard chipotle serving of rice beans or meat at any other chipotle, they'll just charge you for double.
EDIT: 1 week after my review my wife went to get a burrito about an hour and a half before they were closed. Before she made it to the line they told her that there were currently out of corn and not planning on making any...
