Big store...But it doesnāt make up for the rudeness of the manager. I bought a remote control car for my son for Christmas from here. Brought it home and it didnāt work with new batteries. I took it back asking if I could switch it out for an exact exchange (they had two of the same toy on the shelf) to see if that one worked. I was told that there were absolutely no refunds or exchanges and there were no exceptions. I get that itās policy, but the manager was accusatory and lashing out that I would even dare to ask about the policy and see if there could be an exception considering there was another toy in the shelf...and it was less than an hour since the purchase was made. He was just rude to my wife and I. Itās one thing to follow policy, but at least show some empathy for your customers and try to listen at the very least.
Our family isnāt too hard pressed for money but I am saddened to think about other situations where money is tight and a $6 gift was a big sacrifice...and a big loss, with no opportunity for an exchange to get your kid something that works for Christmas. We wonāt be coming back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store was well kept and organized. There was A Lot that was way overpriced. I paid $16 for a pair of jeans. Some Y2K jeans with rhinestones on the butt. So I was a little gagged at that. My kids love thrifting and had a good time in there. What bothered me was the was the manager spoke to the employees and made scenes to embarrass the other employees. Even asked for a mop to the front of the store over the intercom. It hadnāt been 30 seconds before the manager was back on the intercom yelling for the mop. When I asked her what color tag day it was she told me but then proceeded to berate the employees up front saying they needed to be letting customers know as they came in. Maybe itās just me.. maybe Iām over reacting.. but I am a worker myself and know my limits to what I will put up with. Treating people poorly is not how you boost morale and there is no point in that. Let people be. Itās already hard enough out there. I didnāt see anything going on that would warrant mistreatment or any type ridiculment. I hope she will do better in the future. Itās a thrift store. Itās not...

The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because of one one worker. He had curly hair and glasses. He almost walked in front of our cart and when we said sorry that we almost bumped him he rudely sighed and wiped his hand down his face, giving us a rude look. He went to one of the registers and we asked if it was open and he snapped at us loudly "are you a loyalty rewards member?" Without saying yes or no. When we looked confused on if that meant yes or not he snapped it at us again. We went up to the register and the whole time he snapped instructions at us and seemed annoyed that he had to help us. At one point I asked a question and he snapped and rudely pointed at the card reader. He rudely smashed all of our clothes in the bags and basically shoved it at me. It made us really upset and really ruined an otherwise really good time. If this is the type of people this store employees, I dont know if...
