Prices are slowly getting more and more ridiculous. Most of the clothing there is junk stuff they get from liquidation sales at Target, Meijer, etc. so it’s not even fun to look through the racks, just the same boring items over and over. They charge half the price that the original brand would have charged at full price but sometimes more? Found a pair of jeans once that were $24.75 when they were at Kohls but $25 at Ohio Thrift for some reason… They’ll also charge $2 for Dollar Store items. Literally items with dollar tree tags on them. Also, you need an employee to let you into the changing room but they make you wait forever to get it. There are TONS of cameras and monitors around the changing rooms so they must be super worried about theft. Should probably price their items better if it’s such a problem.

As I entered the store, I was appalled by the sight of numerous expired snacks lining the shelves. The thought of someone unknowingly consuming these products filled me with disgust and horror. It is simply unacceptable for a store to stock items that are well past their expiration date. Ingesting such items could lead to serious health concerns, including food poisoning and other related illnesses. This is a matter of public safety that cannot be ignored! Hence, I urge all shoppers to read labels carefully before purchasing any snacks from this store. Do not gamble with your health, as it is far too valuable a commodity to put at risk over stale or expired snack products.

Dear Ohio ā€œThriftā€: Please stop overcharging people for items you get for FREE or EXTREMELY discounted. These items are from the DOLLAR TREE…the tag LITERALLY says ā€œDollar Treeā€ā€¦and you are blatantly overcharging people. There were SO many other Dollar Tree items and displays I did not get pictures of; you are charging $1.99 for a $1 basket and $1.19+ for $1 school supplies. To anyone considering shopping here…I would personally recommend reconsidering. There is a Volunteers of America thrift store across the street that is MUCH more reasonable than this blatant rip off. Have a nice day.

Big store...But it doesn’t make up for the rudeness of the manager. I bought a remote control car for my son for Christmas from here. Brought it home and it didn’t work with new batteries. I took it back asking if I could switch it out for an exact exchange (they had two of the same toy on the shelf) to see if that one worked. I was told that there were absolutely no refunds or exchanges and there were no exceptions. I get that it’s policy, but the manager was accusatory and lashing out that I would even dare to ask about the policy and see if there could be an exception considering there was another toy in the shelf...and it was less than an hour since the purchase was made. He was just rude to my wife and I. It’s one thing to follow policy, but at least show some empathy for your customers and try to listen at the very least.

Our family isn’t too hard pressed for money but I am saddened to think about other situations where money is tight and a $6 gift was a big sacrifice...and a big loss, with no opportunity for an exchange to get your kid something that works for Christmas. We won’t be coming back...

The store was well kept and organized. There was A Lot that was way overpriced. I paid $16 for a pair of jeans. Some Y2K jeans with rhinestones on the butt. So I was a little gagged at that. My kids love thrifting and had a good time in there. What bothered me was the was the manager spoke to the employees and made scenes to embarrass the other employees. Even asked for a mop to the front of the store over the intercom. It hadn’t been 30 seconds before the manager was back on the intercom yelling for the mop. When I asked her what color tag day it was she told me but then proceeded to berate the employees up front saying they needed to be letting customers know as they came in. Maybe it’s just me.. maybe I’m over reacting.. but I am a worker myself and know my limits to what I will put up with. Treating people poorly is not how you boost morale and there is no point in that. Let people be. It’s already hard enough out there. I didn’t see anything going on that would warrant mistreatment or any type ridiculment. I hope she will do better in the future. It’s a thrift store. It’s not...

Most Everyone was really nice. One worker even gave my friend a bandaid when she smashed her finger in the changing room door. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because of one one worker. He had curly hair and glasses. He almost walked in front of our cart and when we said sorry that we almost bumped him he rudely sighed and wiped his hand down his face, giving us a rude look. He went to one of the registers and we asked if it was open and he snapped at us loudly "are you a loyalty rewards member?" Without saying yes or no. When we looked confused on if that meant yes or not he snapped it at us again. We went up to the register and the whole time he snapped instructions at us and seemed annoyed that he had to help us. At one point I asked a question and he snapped and rudely pointed at the card reader. He rudely smashed all of our clothes in the bags and basically shoved it at me. It made us really upset and really ruined an otherwise really good time. If this is the type of people this store employees, I dont know if...
