If you went to this Starbucks on the morning of 11/2/18 you know how slammed they were. Personally, I initiated my regular mobile order using the Starbucks app ~10mins before arriving. After a total of 30 minutes of waiting I had to leave - coffee and foodless - to make a 9AM meeting. While I felt annoyed, I figured I could always reach out to customer service to get my money back. Two hours later I was really craving that Iced Coffee so I drove back to the store. I told the man at the register, Cody, that I had been there earlier in the day ("when they were a mad house"), told him what my order had been, and asked if they would honor the order. Not only did Cody honor my order, he thanked me for being nice saying: "We don't normally get nice people when this happens." That was enough to remind me to always choose joy and be empathetic. To put a cherry on top, Cody gave me a Cranberry Bliss Bar to try (his favorite) and a gift card for a cup o' Joe for next time. I hope I am singing Cody's praises loud enough for Corporate...

However, as a former Starbucks barista I really think these baristas need to be re-trained on how to make a proper iced caramel machiatto. My go-to Starbucks drink is a Venti iced caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. A regular venti iced caramel macchiato comes with 3 shots, not 2. Thus, I should only be paying for one extra shot. I've been charge for 2 extra shots multiple times when asking for a quad. And EVEN with ordering the extra shot, it always tastes too milky, like they're still not putting enough espresso in -- or they're simply adding too much milk. For nearly $7 a drink with non-dairy milk, I'm expecting a good drink that tastes like it has espresso in it.. not a cup of cold milk. I know it's not easy to be a barista and I commend their hard efforts but, please... learn to make the iced...

When I got up to the speaker and they said ā hi queen , what can I get for you today ā it instantly left a smile on my face āŗļø They were so kind and sweet and when I got up to pay they were so enthusiastic and energetic that it made me happy just to have been speaking to them. Itās rare to find people who shine bright and I just want to thank them for making my day ! Thanks for all that you do and please donāt stop because you made a difference in my day and Iām sure you make a difference in others days too...
